Emily's POV
"OMG! He is so hot~!" I heard a girl shriek next to me with a magazine in her hand. It was wide open to her and her friend who was standing behind her. It doesn't take a genius to know what they are babbling about.
"Ain't he?!" I groaned at hearing them ramble on and on about some guy in showbiz.
"Right! Sebastian Michaelis is like the most handsome actor/model ever! I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed as the top one for a very long time! He has been for the past couple of years."
"Well there is one guy that can match him..."
"Oh yeah! His names Claude Faustus! He is so hot too, just not as hot as Sebastian!"
"I totally agree!" I really want school to start.
When I heard the classroom door open, I turned my head real fast that could have cracked my neck to see our first class teacher come in.
"Good morning class!" she yelled out, after everyone ran to their assigned seat.
"Good morning, Ms. Rosen!" the whole class chorused. I didn't really speak, I just worded it to make it look like I was doing it.
As I tried to take some notes on our lesson I saw from the corner of my eye that the girl with the magazine was secretly texting with enthusiasm. I rolled my eyes having an idea or two of who and what it was about.
After a few other classes it was lunch.
I took my time cleaning my table to neatly place my stuff in my black and white book-bag. When I walked out the classroom I heard multiple giggles coming from the girls in a corner with the same magazine from before.
What are with these girls?!
I walked through the slightly busy halls to a door that held stairs to lead me to my private spot in school, the school roof.
I pressed my back against the 2'5 feet wall edges as I sat down and began to dig into my bag. It only took me a moment to pull out a brown paper bag that held my lunch.
I placed my book-bag right beside me as I placed the bag on my lap as my leg was laid straight out.
I was in my school uniform. Starling High School's uniform consists of beige pants/skirts, black t-shirt with the school's symbol over our left chest. The symbol of the school was basically a big yellow star with a red ribbon around the middle of it in white saying the school name.
For lunch I made just a turkey sandwich, with a red apple and a juice box as to fill me more before I have to work after school.
I took my time in eating it, trying to savor the flavor so that it would make me feel at least a little full till the end of the day.
When I was done with my lunch I checked the time on my watch, that I found a while ago on the sidewalk, it was 12:28pm. I only have two minutes before class starts.
I placed the paper bag neatly in my book-bag to save it for tomorrow to use. I stood up and patted my pants to get rid of dirt on my pants.
Later that day at "Maid Café".
"May I have your order?" I said to a male customer in my uniform.
The uniform consists of a regular black and white maid outfit, the uniform ends above the knees and the stockings starts at the same place, with shiny black shoes that goes along with the maid outfit. My black hair ends at the mid of my waist with a bonnet on top of my head, the bangs framed my porcelain face making my violet eyes look more noticeable.
"I would just like an espresso." he spoke calmly, not looking up from behind his sunglasses and hat.
I just gave him a charming smile, which was part of my job, and wrote down his order before I went behind the counter to make the simple order.
As I was almost done with the order I heard a few female customers cooing to each other about a male customer.
"He's so hot~! Doesn't he remind you of someone?" one of the two spoke.
"When I look at him he kind of does, if only he removes those sunglasses and that hat!" the other whined.
I just brushed them off as I walked to my current customer, which I believe would be the one the two other customers were conversing about, with his espresso.
"Here you go," I spoke as I placed it quietly in front of him. "will there be anything else you would like?" I just stood there waiting for him to answer my question, but I didn't get any. So I just watched him pick up his cup and took in the smell it held before he sighed calmly and took a sip of it.
"What is your name?" he spoke, looking up at me with his glasses sliding down a little, which helped me see his golden colored eyes.
"My names Emily. Emily Chambers." I smiled at him, he just stared at me before he continued with his drink. I felt kind of awkward about just standing there waiting for him to answer my previous question, but just put up a smile on my face till he finally spoke to me.
"The espresso you had made for me, Ms. Chambers, is quite delicious." he stood up after placing his empty cup on the small plate. "You will be seeing me in here more often."
I just gave him a grateful smile as I thanked him, watching him walk out the café after placing a 5 dollar bill next to the plate.
Is he really going to come back here? I thought to myself as I cleaned up the table. When I was walking to the back of the counter to the back door where the kitchen was I placed the dishes in the sink. Oh well, he was kind of hot when I think about it.
When I walked out of the kitchen, I halted in my spot and mentally smacked myself.
What am I thinking?! He can't go for a girl like me!
I nodded to myself before I continued walking out from behind the counter to continue working.
