Emily's POV
"Hey did you hear?"
I keep hearing that around school since this early morning. Why can't they just be quiet for once? Today's the beginning of the week of school, and it's almost 9 o'clock, why be so excited?
I have been pondering about that for almost half an hour, sitting on my assigned seat, looking out the window as I repeatedly kept hearing about people asking others if they heard the rumor but became much quieter when the whispered it into a person's ear, which caused many types of reactions. Mostly in shock or excitement.
I wonder what it could be, but I have a good guess of what could be included about it. Most of the people that were gossiping were, of course, girls so it has to have something to do with a guy. I have been seeing them with day dreaming looks in their faces during class and them blushing as they do so or gossip to each other.
The morning bell went off signalling the start of classes.
Everyone went to their seat as the classroom door slide open to reveal Ms. Rosen, who for some reason had a large blush.
Multiple of us had curious looks while the rest, being mostly of girls, had anticipating looks on their faces. After Ms. Rosen took a few steps inside the classroom there was a tall dark figure coming inside the classroom. Now I understood everything if all the squeals and blushes that the whole female population had in class mean anything.
"N-now class, as most of you know, we have a new student. He has been home school for most of his life, so please treat him kindly. Now if you would like to introduce yourself, please do." she said the last sentence to the male.
"As all of you know, I am Sebastian Michaelis. My profession is a model and actor. I am currently taking a break to finish school, like every normal student." he introduced, with his large smile on his face that made all the girls sigh dreamily.
Yeah like that's possible with you already having fan girls in the whole damn school.
I sighed angrily as I rested my right cheek on my right hand, with my elbow resting on the desk top.
"I'm sure that many of you are curious of our new student so ask away."
After she said that almost the whole room had their hands up.
I silently sighed knowing that there won't be any lessons in this class. So I just rested my head on my left palm and watched as our class celebrity was being bombarded with questions.
"Are you single?" a girl near the front of the class called out. I can tell by the sound of her voice, that she is desprite to find out. I was most likely the only one to notice, as all the girls were leaning forward on their desks to hear his answer.
"Sadly yes I am. I am too busy to be in a commited relationship." he said in a slightly depressed tone.
"What's your favorite color?" another female spoke when chosen.
"Black"
"Are your eyes real?"
"Yes, I inherited it from my father."
After a while of hearing stupid questions being shouted out and answered, a question was told that grabbed almost everyone's attention.
"What types of girls are you interested in?"
I have a feeling that he was going to be like those people that are so full of themselves, so they think they deserve the best like models or something.
"I'm sorry, but I can not answer that question." he spoke in a slightly sad tone.
All the girls had their head down slightly showing their disappointment, that is before they looked back up to him just to stare at his beauty.
Pathetic.
I sighed and turned my attention to my left, where there is an empty seat and right next to the seat is a window that views the front of the school. I always liked looking out the window, especially through this classrooms' windows, it has a good view of the front yard and the large silver gate.
I started to space out as I watched birds fly around in front of the window.
"-mbers! Ms. Chambers!" I quickly looked up and turned to see the whole class, including Ms. Rosen and the new student looking at me.
"Yes?" I said in a curious tone.
"Please pay attention in class and if you we're listening I said to raise your hand for Mr. Michaelis to know who to sit next too, but as we can see he doesn't have to anymore." she said in an annoyed tone.
I blushed in embarrassment and slide down on my seat to make myself invisible to the class, who all were happening to be laughing, excluding the model or actor or whatever he was, who is just walking to his assigned seat, and Ms. Rosen, who was either was annoyed at having to either shout at me, having to raise her voice in front of the famous new kid or maybe both.
When the new student sat on the once empty seat next to the window Ms. Rosen cleared her throat to grab the attention of the class before she began to tell the class, well the new student about what we have been learning for the past month or so. After she was probably about to say something about our assigned homework, but was cut off by the bell. When the class heard the bell they sighed in relief.
They probably just didn't do their homework or something, most likely they were thinking about the new celebrity student than their assigned homework. Do they not realize how stupid it is to let just one person distract them from receiving education?
Oh well, not my problem was what I thought as I packed my bag, to leave for my next class in about 5 minutes. As I was standing up from my seat I looked up to notice group of girls walking past me to... Um... Mekiless or something.
I shook my head at them as they began to chat to him, in a disgusting way in my opinion, as they tried to 'flirt' towards him over the others.
