Adopted By Who?

Chapter nine

I walked over to the rack of clothes Mr. Official had pointed out and picked out an outfit.

It had a black and grey striped top attached to a pair of tan shorts with blue stripes with a little red at the bottom of each stripe and attached were black leather pockets on the front. Underneath I had on black tights and my pair of light grey high top converse.

For my hair I just pinned it back with a bobby pin behind my ear and left my makeup the same. I was worried about how the outfit would look but it actually looked really good! (You can kind of see the outfit in the picture)

I joined the boys and we walked down a hallway past s food table- FOOD. That's what I was forgetting! I quickly popped a couple donut holes in my mouth and swallowed quickly. Hopefully that will help.

When we arrived at a curtain there was a man with a headset that would let us know where to go, I looked behind the curtain and I saw a familiar desk and stage. Behind the desk was Jimmy Fallon??? I remembered watching him in the orphanage a few times and also before I was sent there.

I had better not mess up.

Louis must've seen the nervousness on my face because I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around to see him with a reassuring look on his face. "You'll do fine baby girl. Just be honest and be yourself." He smiled at me and I looked down at my bracelet. Nobody can drag me down. The boys were right.

They would be with me. I'm going to be fine.

I could hear Jimmy talking.

"Today we have on a band! We've had them before and then we actually ended up on the ground. One member of the band has recently adopted a daughter and she will be joining us! Please welcome One Direction and Addison Tomlinson!" Oh my gosh that's me.

I shakily walked out behind Louis I was so scared. I think my face was red, and knowing that probably made it even more red. I took a deep breath and kept following the boys.

We all shook hands with Jimmy and then went to sit down.

The five of them all sat down in the couch leaving me to the single chair. The chair was actually closest to him! Oh thanks guys feeling the love!

This can not end well.

Once Jimmy sat down and the music stopped he started to talk, here we go.

"Hey guys thanks so much for being on the show!" Said Jimmy

"Thanks for having us it's great to be here!" Liam replied

"So I've heard rumours that at this point every member of the band is single!" He said looking at the camera and making a funny face.

"Yes that would be true." Said Louis.

"Yep." Said Harry. Why does he keep acting so nervous? He's so weird.

"So Addison, or Addy which do you prefer?" He asked me.

"Addy." I replied smoothly.

"Okay Addy, what's it like living with One Direction the world famous boy band?"

"Well, I didn't actually know they were famous when they adopted me but now that I do the game isn't that hard. Of course they adopted me three days ago so how would I know. They are pretty crazy but they all are really sweet and nice." I said. This was easy. "And crazy." I added getting a few laughs.

"So this morning I was looking for your Twitter to follow you because I already followed the boys and three of them followed me back." He made a fake fan girling face and then went back to talking.
