Part 0.75: Pre-Semester One.

"Attention ladies and gentlemen. Our descent into Los Angeles has begun so may everyone please make sure that they are seated and that their seat belts are fastened, thank you."

I took in a deep breath.

This was really happening.

I shifted my gaze out the window and watched silently as the plane started to go down and the ground started to get bigger and closer. It was almost 10PM here, so naturally it was dark outside. The ground below was lit up by the many buildings and I could see cars more clearly as they drove down on the roads.

After spending three years in juvie in Texas, I was finally going to be going home and seeing my family for the first time.

Your probably wondering, why was I in Texas and why the rest of my family was in L.A.

No, I wasn't deported to Texas. That is where all of us used to live. Well, until the incident that is. After I was arrested, they moved to L.A. I guess it was to have a fresh start or something. Was I mad that they basically left me behind so they could "move on"?  A little bit, but I knew that if I held a grudge against them, this whole reunion was going to be more awkward than it already will be. I guess that I'll just let it slide. For now.

Your also probably wondering how I ended up in juvie. Let's just say that I don't really like to talk about it. Don't worry, you'll find out when the time comes.

As the plane comes to a stop on the ground, I suddenly feel really nervous. I mean, I haven't seen or spoken with my family in three years.  I never got to finish middle school and I missed the first year of high school. I'd say that those are pretty important events in a person's life.

I unbuckled my belt and grabbed my backpack. The only luggage I had brought. Inside were some files and other documents and stuff that I would have to give to my parents. I didn't really have any other belongings to bring here.

I walked along with the other passengers who were mostly coming here for vacation. It was the middle of June, so school was out and it was time for summer vacation. That meant I had some time to bond with my two sisters-we were triplets. The oldest was Selena and the youngest was Brianna. Selena was the smart one in the group and Brianna was the cheerful girly girl. I was the tomboy and the rebel. Yes we were an interesting trio. The two of them would gang up on me and try to do my hair and nails, but that usually ended up with both of them receiving bruises or scratch marks.

I followed everyone to the baggage claim area and there they were. My parents that is. My sisters were no where to be seen. I waved at them and they both got up from the table they were sitting at and rushed over.

They both unsurprisingly looked the same. Mom's wild, curly dark brown locks were held in a neat bun at the back of her head. She was dressed in a pair of black dress pants, a red blouse and tall black pumps. She was carrying a Guess purse. Dad was in a dark grey suit and had a blue dress shirt underneath with a tie that was a darker shade of blue and black dress shoes. His jet black hair that I inherited had a bit of grey in it, but he still had a full head of hair which was better than being bald I guess.

You see, my parents were both in the line of business. They were both promoted to CEO of their respective companies around the time when I was in third grade. As you can imagine, they both made a fairly large amount of money, but then it got better. When I was in fifth grade, my dad won the lottery. I'm not even kidding. 4.5 billion dollars was all ours. I remember that day up until now. Never have I ever seen my usually so calm and collected mother freak out like that. I mean then there was the incident, but that was different.
