The Apocalypse Starts

Hunter had been driving on the empty highway with the girl and his dog. "so whats your name?" He asks still keeping his eyes on the road. "my names sapphire" She looked at him "and whats your name mister?' she titled her head to the right. Her long blue hair going all over max. His head was on her lap. "my names Hunter. Did you have any family? why were you all alone out there." He got off the and began driving down the street. "m-my family was killed by those mean people" she whimpered holding max's head tightly. He looked at her " I...i'm sorry for your loss Sapphire." he rubbed her head and stopped at a gas station. He looked inside the store and saw infected and looked around the truck "stay here okay? if anything happens scream" she nodded and he got out of the truck, holding his axe.

 He walked into the store and saw the two infected "alright..this store still looks pretty full " He walked up to one of the Infected. It lunges at him but he dodges and slams the axe down into his head, killing it. He walked to the other one and killed it quickly as well. He got got a bag and filled it up with more water bottles and some snacks .He walked back out and saw that sapphire was sitting quietly in the truck. He came and gave her the bag " whats this stuff Hunter?" He smiled and started the truck "stuff to keep us going, lets go" he drove down the street again. He slowly stopped, looking ahead. He saw a horde of zombies and he sighed. " we are gonna have to go around. After we look more around we can find a place to sleep" He looked ahead and saw past the horde there was a another truck. Hunter heard gun shots and he began backing up the truck "we need to go now" he turned around and began driving as fast as he could.

Hunter heard the sound of bullets following him "shit their chasing us!" he drove at full speed and saw in the rear-view-mirror a truck following them. They shot his tire and he growled "get down sapphire!!" he said pushing her head down and his own down as the glass shattered behind them. He heard her high pitched scream and he peeked up ahead of him. He saw another horde and glared ahead "we are gonna drive through that horde" he said and they shot his other tire. He went through the horde. Blood splattered on the glass and he pulled over to the side of the road. "well...now we are in trouble..."
