The jewels. I can't believe we left them in there. Taylor sent me in to scout. He was messing around in our closet. I swam as fast as I could into the invisibility shield. I typed in the password and grabbed the jewels.

I saw Taylor at the Wishing Fountain. She was giddy with joy. I've never loved anyone but I bet I would be acting the same way if it were Taylor.

She said, "I have an idea."

I also had an idea but I let her go first. She said, "Let's play a trick on Percy!"

"Perfect!"

"I don't know what we should do though."

Oh I have the best idea. We would put some coins in the wishing fountain and wish for 1,000 replicas of Riptide, his sword. We would then steal the real riptide and ask him to choose which was the real one. He would leave us alone if he chose the right one. Probably.

I told Taylor and we threw in the coins. She went to snatch riptide and she came back with a distressed look on her face. She pointed behind her and I looked up and there was Percy riding on a gigantic tidal wave.
