Lilly

"Can we just get through this Luke? Please?" I groaned as I saw Luke once again throw his book onto the floor.

He rolled his eyes at me. "No Lil, I'm bored. Can we just order pizza or something? This homework isn't due until Friday anyways!"

"Fine." I said with a sigh. I ran my fingers through my blonde hair and closed my English folder. I grabbed my phone and called the pizza place, asking for a large pepperoni.

As I walked into the living room, I saw Luke sprawled on my couch. "Is your mum going to be happy about this? It's a school night and you're here." I asked plopping down beside him.

"Mum's on a business trip and dads working late. I'd be home alone anyways so why not spend the evening with my best friend?" He asked and pinched my cheek.

I smacked his hand away and rolled my eyes. Luke definitely was my best friend, the two of us were joined at the hip. Our mums have worked together since they got out of university, so since they were so close, Luke and I were almost forced to become friends.

I remember the first time I saw him. Mum took me to his house for the first time so she could spend some time with Mrs. Hemmings and I was just dragged along. I was sitting in the living room when Luke fell down the stairs and broke his wrist. I went to the hospital with him and his mum and that's where the two of us really clicked.

It was sad when it happened, but thinking about it now, if Luke hadn't fallen down the stairs and I hadn't run to see what had happened, then we wouldn't have become best friends.

"Ugh Lilly, I have to go..." Luke said slowly.

"What?" I asked with my eyebrows raised. "I just ordered a pizza."

"Calum's car ran out of gas again. I need to go pick him up." Luke said as he walked to the kitchen to gather his books.

I mumbled a few curse words directed to Luke's friend Calum and lead Luke to the door. "Have fun." I said with a fake smile.

Luke chuckled and shook his head, causing some of his blonde hair to fall in front of his face. "I'll text you Lilly." He said heading to his car.

"Sure." I called to him, as he drove down the street.

I blew the hair out of my face and trudged back inside. Just as I sat back down on my couch, the doorbell rang signalling the pizza Luke and I were going to eat had arrived.

I opened the door and was surprised to see a boy from my school holding the pizza. I hadn't ever talked to him and I don't remember his name, but he was in one of my classes. He had dyed blonde hair and an eyebrow piercing. He looked pretty intimidating to say the least.

He didn't say anything. Not one word. He just kinda stood there awkwardly looking at his shoes. I coughed and he stuck his hand out. He had the bill in it and I carefully took it, eyeing him the whole time.

I payed for the food and he gave me the pizza. He didn't look up at me once. It was like his eyes were glued to his shoes.

I mumbled a thanks and closed the door as I saw him turn around.

Weird.

So this is the first chapter. It's boring asf I know. It's just a filler.
