Chapter 1

Pain waves go through my body making my voice do screams. My body wanted to move and jerk away, but the chains held me there. Once again, the sent of blood filled my senses. "Learn your place!" He yelled, a voice I will never forget. A voice that will haunt me for the rest of my life. Suddenly I felt the tears that couldn't be helded anymore.

"Worthless." The monster whispered, the footsteps faded away.

"Beep! Beep! Beep!" Moaning, the girl turned just enough for the girl to hit the stupid smallest button on the black alarm clock. Life is so strange and works the weirdest ways. Why is it that you go to bed and you cant get comfy or sleep but when morning comes the bed is SO comfy.

"Young lady! You better get your small little ass off that bed before I dump this ice cold water on that face of yours!" Nana had yelled, picturing the old women holding the large cup of ice water she quickly got off the bed and grabbed cloths on the dresser. The regular, which was jeans, tank top, and a jacket to go over the "impropriety sexy shoulders" girls have. "I'm up!" she replied rushing in the kitchen seeing her grandmother cooking chocolate chip pancakes, her favorite.

Nana saw her coming in and gave her a warm smirk, laughing the girl sat on the chair watching. "Hungry?" Nana asked grabbing a plate already made of two or three pancakes. Drooling the girl wiggled with excitement. "You don't even have to ask!" She happily took the first bite and knowiest her grandma smile no longer hit her eyes. "what?"

"Yuki, please have a good day. At least for me, it is your senior year anyways. It should be fun, oh and don't even worry about making friends. This is a friendly neighborhood you know, nice and small. Promise me. ok?" Yuki couldn't look at her grandma in the eye, " Promise I will.... try."

With that they ate in silence...
