Yuki
Closer to the school the louder my heart was. The radio did not help at all like it used to. Music made everything better, but I just couldn't considerate on the words. "Come on Yuki, you can do this." I told myself, sighing deeply.
Pulled up to the high school and parked in 201 parking spot on the side by the band room parking lot. Grabbing the bag, heading to the office, I could feel the staring from the people. It was true, the town was small town which means everyone knew everybody and everyone wanted to see the new girl. Not only were the so obvious about it one girl turned and stopped right in front of me staring like something on me shocked her.
At the office I waited in line for the paper to show my classes I would take. Even though I had my credits and passes all my classes, Nana wanted me to have the experience. The women was around her thirties and was pretty with her smooth skin, light brown curly hair, and office outfit. She smiled brightly, but once she saw me she smiled even brighter. I couldn't help but smile back, "Hi."
"Hi. Name please?" she asked already going through the files. "Yuki. Y-Yuki Gal, ma'am." Seconds later, she pulled out a file with all information on the school, classes, teachers, websites, and more. "Here you go, you have a wonderful first day. I know you will make many friends Yuki." Something came over her eyes and I didn't know what to say. "Uh. Um thank you." I walk away searching for the map and first class I had.
In first period of American Government honors, the teacher met all the students at the door. He knew about every person asking how the been, family, what they did. Once the bell rang we got into sign seats and had to interview the people in our groups we sat with. Mine was a boy name, Trey Huns, who was a dark brown hair, blue eyes, and long body. He was a tall boy and by what he wore he was one of those anime and band geeks. He loved music and he spent lot of time in band, at least what he told me. He seemed like a great guy and decided he could be a great friend. At the end of the day the class was pretty great. The teacher was so funny and told it like it is. He was the kind of person who doesn't even say a white lie.
The rest of the day was pretty much the same and relaxing, I was enjoying school. Some people even came up to me asking questions about me, of course cause I was the new kid. People were so friendly. Rest of my classes was wind ensemble, pottery, 2-d art, physics, and last was culinary. Last was not even a class, the seniors get an option to leave in seventh period. Lunch was after physics and that is what worries me. The butterflies in my stomach was on again and I got very nervous. Trey, same from first period and in band put his hand on my shoulder. "Hey? You ok Yuki?" Smiling, i nodded my head. "Yea. Lunch is next right?" He just stared at me for a minute and smiled big laughing at himself, "Yea! You want to sit next to me at lunch?" Blushing by his reaction he panicked, "No, no, not like that, you are new so of course you would need a place to sit. Go by the band room, we always eat with each other so you won't have to worry about it. Sorry about that." he awkwardly rubbed his head blushing, making me laugh. "Thank you."
