It was another usual day, it has been two days since my redo of our first date with Nathan and it has been amazing. After that the next day he took me to a carnival that just opened, we even say Miya there with Kyle but I was too happy to even care. Nathan won me a small teddy bear that I love. There hasn't been any awkwardness since, we kept things light but at the same time I felt like I was liking him more and more. He held my hand as we walked around the carnival, I cant explain how I felt, just that I was finally happy.

"Do you want some fries?" Nathan pointed towards his lunch tray. I shook my head in reply.We were all sitting together at the lunch table. Miya was all over Kyle and trying to sneakily look at me to see if I was jealous. But I wasn't because Nathan had his arm placed on my upper thigh. I was nervous someone would see but at the same time I was enjoying it so much. In fact I was so distracted by it that I wasn't paying attention to the conversation.
"So Ivory are you coming?" Emma raised an eyebrow, looking between me and Nathan repeatedly.
"Too..." I questioned, not knowing what she was remotely talking about.
"Homecoming silly" Emma laughed, leaning even closer in.
"Em..." I looked down at my peas, pretending they were the most interesting thing in the world right now. I was going to avoid this answer at all costs.
"Do you want to go outside?" Nathan leaned into my ear and asked. I jumped at the offer and quickly scrambled outside, hearing Emma call after me.
Nathan walked me towards a semi-secluded area, near the back of the school.He wasn't really saying anything so I was about to fill the air just before he grabs me and smashes his lips to mine. He then pushes me gently back so I'm resting against a wall.He puts his two hands at either side of me as if he was caging me. He depended the kiss and I put one hand on the back of his head and another on his hip. We break apart slightly and he rests his forehead on mine.
His breathing is fast and raggy, "Will you" he pauses to catch a breath, "Go to homecoming with me?"
"Of course" I reply smiling and he kisses me again.The moment was absolutely perfect. That was until I hear the very familiar voice of Emma.
"Oh My God you guys! I knew this was happening! Im so happy for you two!" She slightly jumps up and down. Nathan and I separate as soon as possible, keeping two feet between us.
"Oh No, don't stop doing what ye were doing just because of me! Okay pretend I wasn't even here, bye." Emma puts her two hands up in a gesture that meant she was sorry. She then backed away slowly before turning around and breaking into a full sprint back into the cafeteria.
Nathan and I just look at each other and break into laughter. He walks towards me and engulfs me in a big bug, kissing my forehead.
Now I have to find a dress.

"This one?" I twirled around in a satin blue dress.
"Yes" Nathan said bored, I don't even think he looked at the dress.
"You said yes to all of them" I laughed , slightly pushing him with my arm playfully.
"Thats because even if you wear a bin bag, you will still be the most beautiful girl in the room" Nathan smiled at me. I wanted nothing more then to pinch his cheeks and ruffle his hair because he was so cute.
"I hope you're not going all soft on me?" I winked before changing into what was probably the twentieth dress.
"Here try this" Nathan put his hand behind the curtain, holding a red tight dress. Not really surprised he would pick this, what boy wouldn't! I put on the dress and looked in the mirror, I think I actually like it. In fact I love what it does to my body shape. I came out of the dressing room and Nathan immediately paid attention. He didn't say anything for a while to the point that I started getting worried he didn't like it. That was until he said, " I love it, you look like a bombshell"
Feeling happy with the dress I went to the cash register and paid for it. Atleast that job was done.
Nathan and I then went to a cafe. I ordered a danish and a coffee and he ordered just a tea. We sat directly opposite one another, holding eachothers hand with one hand and using the other to drink our hot drinks. We talked about Home coming, we talked about upcoming assignments and we even talked about Big Brother. The conversation just flowed and I enjoyed nothing more then just staring into his eyes, taking in every bit of his appearance, his stance and just the fact that he was present with me. I thought about how happy I am and how unhappy I was staring down the bottle of a vodka bottle. I haven't drank since the original disastrous first date. I've just felt so much better both physically and mentally. I didn't even feel the hours slip by, soon it was 8pm and I was late for dinner. I dropped Nathan home giving him a kiss on the forehead. When I pulled away he kissed me on the lips before jumping out of the car and going inside.
As creepy as it sounds i just sat outside his house in the car staring at the walls of his two story home. All I could think about was how lucky I was. Life was finally looking up.
