The Gift of Revenge

chapter 14:

After a night of love making with Derek the one thing I dont want is to be woken up early but that is not what happens today as my phone wakes me while im peacefully sleeping in his arms. I ansswer it with out even looking to see who it is...

"mmhmm..."

"Alyssa, I need you here now..." Alec says halfway in alpha tone.

"On my way." 

After I get dressed I wake Derek to let him know i'm leaving. I speed all the way to the pack house really in need to know whats going on or if something has happened. When I walk in everything is hecktic. (something is up). I go straight to Alec's office and walk right in no knock I can tell its not needed.

"Alec ??"

" Alyssa , I am glad you got here fast. I have some news that concerns you so I thought you should know first but I need to tell others asap so you see the need for you so soon."

"Yes, So what is it ?"

"There has been another attack on your old pack and there were more casulties." He says watching my reaction.

" Yea, I know Lacie called me yesterday to tell me about it her dad was one of those killed."

"No Alyssa , there was another. A third attack."

"What ? How many were hurt ?  What happened ?"

"Alyssa I am not sure but you know I have been holding off from helping but I can no longer wait innocent people are dying. Too many. And well I just called Alpha Nickolas to let him know I will be helping and  me and some of my fighters will be there Sunday. We will leave this coming Sunday, there will be training three times this week for three hours a day so we can be warmed up and ready for a fight. If that is to happen, Is that clear?"

""Yes Alec, Cyrstal clear." I responded and head up to my room and process all this info.

In less than one week I will be back with that pack,with HIM, I wish it would not have come to this but I wont back down. I wonder how Derek will handle me having to leave for awhile. I think as I feel the stress coming on fast. I need a run mabey if I let my wolf run free we can think of a plan to hold us up for the next few weeks or as long as I am there.

As I get back from my run and come up to the pack house I see Dereks car parked in the driveway. I change into the clothes I left by a tree at the edge of the forest and hurry to find him. I dont want anyone else to tell him about me leaving. As always I find him and the guys in the study talking and laughing. When he sees me he gets up and comes to me. He pulls me close and plants one of the most amazing kisses he has ever givin me then he pulls away leaving me breathless for a second to say the least.

"Alyssa you didnt call all day so I decided to come by and check on you. I have got to talk to you about somethings that have come up too." He says to me 

The first thing that comes to mind it that "they told him" I am going to kill them myself I think as I hold in the growl that is trying to escape my lips. "Uh.. Okay we can go up to my room."

"Okay "  When we up in the room and he tells me to sit and then he starts.

"Umm... Well Alyssa you know my clubs are all over and that I am trying to open more right."

"Derek wait you want to talk to me about your business?"

"What else would we need to talk about in private?"

"Okay" I smile." After I have to tell you afew things that have come up also."

"Okay thats fine ." " Where was I... Oh yea I am trying to open more right well one is ready to be opened I just have to go do the Grand Opening for it and I have it planed for 2 weekends from now. I was wanting you to go with me and that is why I made it for then to give you enough time to get ready. We can make it a little vacation out of it. "

"Oh D it sounds so good but now for my news " I say alittle sad Nick is already starting to come between us and that is not what I want to happen.

"Okay" He sounding alittle suspecious.

"Well... umm... See... I havent really told you all about my past and my family. You know that I have a dad, brother, sister in law, and a best friend in another Pack my old one,

"YEA" ... He interupts.

"Let me finish" I smile at him. "You also know of my rejection. Well a pack has been getting attacked and you know since I am one of the best fighters Alec has I will have to be with the first group that goes in. When Alec decides to help huh?"

"Yea I know, so what does that have to do with your past and old pack ?"

"It's coming, Alec called me this morning to tell me that there was a third attack on that pack and that we will be helping them. We are to leave Sunday but this pack is not just some pack It is My Old Pack... Where my family is and Where HE is ..." I say and wait for it all to sink in. I sit on the chair by my desk when he scares the heel out of me screaming

"YOU WILL NOT GO !!! Not after what he did to you. How can Alec say for you to go knowing what he did." as he screamed this out the aura around him became strong with anger and ready for blood even his eyes had that hint of red rimmed around them a sign of the blood lust. God know I dont want him out for blood especially here in the pack house. If he were to go into it anyone that made a wrong move on me he would attack them and not stop til they were dead.

"What Pack Alyssa ? I will not allow you to go alone " he says with a dertimined voice.

" I'm not going to be alone there will be more men with us and Alec will be there as well to make sure things go well."

"How will things be okay for you ? I have to do the grand opening for the club and it will be in the MidNight moon territory but after ..."

"WHAT !!! Your club is there ? Derek that is where I am going. That is my old Pack..."

"So you mean Nick is... I never could stand that piece of shit now I just want to kill him more."

"Alec too but he wont let innocent wolfs die in the process. That is why he decded help not for the Alpha but for his people fellow wolfs. "

" Well then Alyssa, You will go with me And afew of my fighters. Just for your safety, You are my Future Queen, My Princess for now and I will not have you not protected and get hurt no matter what. Understood ?"

"Oh Alec number two you are so sweet " I say as I go to hug him.

"Yea I know well I will just move my departure up a week and we will leave when Alec and the rest do but you will be in my car and ya'll especially you will stay in my house while you are there got it ?"

Again yea I got it sir" I smile at him with a mischive sparkle in my eyes. 

" No that business is done can we go relax by the pool for the rest of the evening ? With you in that bikini that I love so much?" He says 

"As long as you take that shirt off we can." We change and head down. I guess everyone else got the same idea because everyone even Alec was out by the pool trying to relax some.
