So class, has everyone heard of the TV show, The Love Games?" Mr. Jason asks his last period class. Mr. Janson is a 29 year old man that teaches Juniors English at JMH. Jay Michael High. The only high school in Horcrunson. Otherwise known as my high school.

All the girls in my class cheered, including my best friends, Natalie Jinx and Gwenadora Jones. As for the boys. They groaned, as did I. I hate that show. It's stupid and sexist.

I mean it's a game show like show where a seventeen year old boy goes onto the show and chooses a wife out of twenty-four girls. The girls have no damn choice but to go or they receive a punishment and are forced to go onto the show as well. The only fair thing about the show is that if a girl is engaged or married by the time that she receives the notice telling her that she is going to be on the show, she doesn't have to go.

I already hear my mother and my best friends talk about the show enough as it is. Now I have to hear my favorite teacher talk about it too? Today is just not my day.

I didn't realize I had risen my hand until Mr. Janson called on me. "Yes, Chelsey, what's your question?"

I quickly brought my pale arm back down and set it on my notebook. "My question? Right. Do we really have to talk about the stupid show. I hear enough about it without having to hear it from you. I pretty sure the boys in here and all the boys in this school agree with me. So again, do we really have to hear this talk?"

Mr. Janson is used to my attitude and doesn't care if I talk with it. In fact he is the only teacher I've ever had that doesn't care about me talking with my normal attitude. He says that my attitude defines me and everyone else has one that defines them. Which is one of the reasons why he is my favorite teacher.

"Ah, Chelsey. I know you have your opinions on the show as well as everyone else does. Your opinion is negative for the show and that's fine, it tells everyone something about you. Believe me, if I didn't have to talk about The Love Games, on orders of His and Her Majesties, I wouldn't be talking about it."

A glare appeared in my eyes at the mention of the Royal family. I hate them. They took something very important from me. I will never forgive them. "Well how would they find out if you didn't tell us about it, Mr. Janson? I mean I certainly won't tattle."

"If only I could, Chelsey, if only I could. Now based on your reactions, I'm assuming that you have all heard of The Love Games. Some maybe more than others. For this season of The Love Games, the letters will be being passed out after the final bell rings by some Royal Attendants. So ladies, be prepared you might just get a letter."

"Why?!" I cried out. This really isn't my day. Realization came to me.

Wait a minute. Why the Hell would Royal Attendants be passing out the letters? He can't be the Lover for this season. Can he? No I'm just being paranoid. I thought.

Mr. Janson ignored me and continued. "The male that will be chosen to be The Lover for this season is His Highness himself, Prince Draco." Spoke too soon, well thought too soon anyway. "So ladies if you are not engaged or married yet, you may want to keep under consideration that you may be chosen to participate in The Love Games this season. If you are chosen to participate, today will be your last day of school."

I banged my head on the desk I was sitting at. Over. And over. I must of hit my head a dozen times. I continued even after the bell rang. I was now really wishing that I was engaged, and that's a first. After a while I felt a soft hand on my shoulder. I lifted my head up and tried to see who it was. My golden hair was blocking my view of the person kneeling down next to me. I pushed my waist length hair our of my face to find Natalie kneeling by me with Gwenadora standing behind her. Natalie smiled slightly at me.
