Part 1

October 17, 1999. It was a quiet night at the hospital. On the third floor of the hospital there was a young mother, about 19. Her boyfriend was waiting outside the door. He could hear the faint cries of his girlfriend. Then it went silent. The doctor came out told him he could see them now. He went in and saw her holding the baby in her hands.
" Her name is Scarlett." Tia said.
"She's beautiful." Greg stated.
Greg and Tia had known each other since they were 7. Their mothers were eat friends. They started going out when they were 14, but when Tia was 15 her parents were in a car accident and died. Tia lived with Greg and his family until they were 18. They moved out, not soon after Tia got pregnant.
