Its been about a year since Greg left. The two girls, on their own, were bouncing from place to place. The lived in 7 different houses. School was an issue for Scarlett she never had any friends, mostly because she never talked to anyone. They moved into another house but this house was different, they felt safe, free, and at home. Scarlett, now 8 years old, loved the house. They lived in the house for a while now, about 5 years. Scarlett is now 13 and she talks so much more than she used to. She had a lot of friends and she even had a boyfriend. His name was Jay, she was so in love with him. They had been dating for 3 months when he came over one night. They were having fun they went outside jumped in the snow and went to the store bought some snacks. Her mom wasn't home so they were kissing, a lot. Then Jay brought up a topic they talked about the night before and he said " Scarlett ... Can I do that thing?"
"What thing?" She asked all confused. Then she realized what he meant and just looked at him thinking about how in love they were. She had spent about 10 minutes staring at him thinking about it when she finally said yes. So she let him finger her.
