"THEY KILLED ME! THIS COMPETITION WAS TO SEE WHO COULD STAY ALIVE LONGEST! I COULD HAVE WON!" I shouted to Annie as I went on my rampage. "Geez, calm down. It's. A. Game. You will live. I was one of the first out!" Annie hadn't seen how big my problem was. I had an idea. "Only one can go through the portal. So one must die. I have an idea!" I shrieked. "Oh, no this so won't be good." Annie said, putting up the white flag (surrendering). I laughed, "fine then. You won't be able to decide who tries again." I said, playing with a block that said respawn. "Who ever clicks it, goes back in the game." I told her. She was unbelievable. "Oh, PLEASE me!" Annie pleaded. "I guess you can." I said. I tossed her the block and clicked the button.
Lizzie's POV
The portal was up ahead! Only around 600,000 more blocks to go! I saw a long gray strip along the map. A ravine was up ahead. "Hey Joel, here is a ravine up ahead, I'd be careful." I said as we walked. "Ok, we better be careful then." Joel responded. Just hen Annie popped in front of us. "Annie!" Both of us said, in surprise. "Yep, and I'm here for a surprise!" She pulled out a diamond sword and slashed Joel across the chest, and he fell to the ground. I got down on my knees and started sobbing. Why Joel? "HOW DARE YOU!" I said. "Hey, one of you was going to have to die at one point. Only one can go through the portal." Annie laughed. "And that will be me" said Annie, swinging her sword at me. "No! Not me either!" I pulled out my sword and went straight in at Annie.
JOELS POV
I woke up in my bed, dazed. On my computer desk, there was a respawn block. As I got up, I tried to move, but there was a large pain in my desk, I pulled my shirt up, and there was a large slash against my chest. I reached for the phone to dial 999 (911), before it was too late.
