Chapter 2

Summers pov

I mounted Solar and started trotting him around. I kicked him into a canter and led him to the first jump I had set up it was about 1ft at the lowest point and jumped over it then jumping over another one that was about 1 and a half ft. at the lowest and jumped, then I had a horizontal pole that was about 2ft and jumped. I brung Solar back to a trot and stopped posting and sat down kicked him back into a canter and cantered around the ring a few times before spotting chase coming out and thought I would scare him cause he had never seen me jump higher then one foot. I turned and jumped over a few cross rails that were about 3ft at the lowest points and jumped the horizontal ones that were about 3 and a half feet. Then I kicked Solar into a gallop and rode around letting the wind blow through my hair and then bring him down to a canter then a trot and then a walk. Then looked at chase, who had a petrified look on his face and looked like he may have just wet himself I stopped Solar, and dismounted putting his stirrups up and taking his girth off and grabbing his saddle. I shoved it into Chase's arms.

"Here stop looking petrified and make yourself useful" I said. Then I turned back to Solar took of his bridle put on his harness and led solar out giving the bridle to Chase on the way to the paddock. When we reached the paddock I put Solar in, took of his harness closed the gate and walked back to the tack room where I put away Solar's harness.

"Summer," Aaron called "Were going to look at puppies, You coming?"

"Yesssssssssss." I said running and jumping bridal style into his arms. I looked up at him "Carry me." I said then put on my best innocent face. "Pwease" I said.

"You say it like I have a choice." He said holding me closer and bringing me to his red pick up truck "Shotgun." I yelled. Sticking my tongue out at Chase who was behind me. I jumped into the car as Chase sighed and went into the back murmuring.

"Sometimes I really hate you"

"You love me too much to hate me." I responded putting my feet up on the dashboard.

"Sadly." Chase and Aaron said at the same time. When we got to the store I unbuckled my seatbelt and jumped out of the car. "Were here." I yelled doing a happy dance. Chace face palmed and Aaron started knocking his head against the truck.

" Well, Lego." I said and we walked into the pet store. I ran over to a Play pen with Australian Shepard Puppies on the play pen it said that we could go in so I opened the gate and sat down in the pen as the puppies came over and started climbing all over me. I counted 5 puppies and they were all so cute! I picked one up and snuggled into my chest. Chase came over with a worker next to him the worker chuckled as he saw the situation

"So have you chosen yet?" Chase said.

"Yep all of them!" I replied.

"How did I know this would happen?" Chase said. He turned to the worker "All of them then." And the worker lead Chase to do some paper work, meanwhile I started naming them. The one that was sitting on my lap was Blue, the one I was holding was Uma, the one that was pulling on my shirt was Ice, the one running around me trying to play was Fern, and the last one who was nuzzling into my side was Snookums. Aaron came with collars and put them on and I got up and asked the worker if they needed leashes he replied and said that they were trained to follow people so we didn't need leashes. We thanked him and left the store I placed each of the pups in the back of the truck then got in. I picked up Snookums and cuddled him as we drove back
