Joseph's P.O.V.
"What have you done?" I growled at Ruvik.
"Nothing. I just made her the perfect slave. She can't see you the way she normally would. To her, you threaten her."
Silvia punched the wall beside my head. I struggled against her grip.
"Fix her!" I barked.
Ruvik laughed. "Why should I? She calls herself a monster. Now that's all she is."
I focused on Silvia. Blood flowed down her cheeks from her eyes, and she opened her mouth to reveal her fangs.
"It's me, Silvia." I whispered. "Joseph!"
"Joseph is dead. I don't know who you are." She growled.
She dropped her grip on me, and I ducked right as her fist slammed into the wall. I ran away from her when she struggled to free her hand.
"Come back here!" She growled, ripping her hand free and running after me.
This was the first time I had ever seen Silvia as a true monster. Her maniacal laughter and frightening appearance truly terrified me.
"You can't run forever!" She laughed.
Ow! Joseph, you hit my weak point! You Little Fuck! Her voice echoed in my mind.
You wanted me to hit you!
Not in my fucking face!
I turned on my heel and punched Silvia as hard as I could. Her jaw broke on impact, and she fell backwards. She stayed on the ground for a few minutes before regaining consciousness and struggling to her feet. I quickly sat on top of her and punched her repeatedly.
"Quit it, You Shit!" She growled, launching me off of her.
My back collided with the ceiling, and I grunted as I landed on the ground. Silvia grabbed the collar of my shirt and lifted me up. I was high enough to where my feet didn't touch the ground.
"Who the fuck are you?" She barked.
"J-Joseph Oda!" I answered, struggling to breathe.
"My Joseph died years ago! You can't be him!"
"Ruvik filled your head with lies! We haven't even been together for a month! Silvia, it's me! I'm Joseph!"
"Prove it!"
"Bite me!"
This one little phrase made her drop me. I coughed and looked up at her. She was looking at me like I had just hit her with a cement block.
"Joseph.....Oda?" She whispered, taking a step away from me.
She looked at her hands and started crying. Blood flowed from her eyes instead of tears.
"Monster!"

I found Silvia later that day. She had been crying beside a river of pure blood. I carried her to my room while she slept and laid her in my bed. She had already returned to her normal appearance before I found her.
"J-Joseph?" She whined when she woke up.
"I'm here." I whispered, pulling her to me.
She buried her face in my chest. I smiled and kissed the top of her head.
"Ruvik made me hurt you." She whispered.
"I'm fine. There aren't any wounds on me."
"Your hand is bloody."
"Silvia, I hurt you."
She sat up, and her shirt ripped as she leaned forward. The Oda family insignia was branded on her skin.
"Why do you have that?" I muttered, reaching out to touch her back.
"Think back, Joseph."
