I couldn't wait to finally be done for the day that turned to night. I mean running a motel had it's perks, but with the sudden roar of thunder and immediate lightening, i knew no one else would be coming until tomorrow. and then quickly i heard the pitter patter of the sudden rain storm. i was just about done locking up when i hear a knock at the door. i knew it. there was always one more customer to check in to brighten up my night.

I quickly get her checked into room one and gave her some extra towels to dry off and she then left to her room. once I saw there was no one else in sight to check in, I went into my room behind the counter, closing the door. I had always sat on my bed before continuing my next venture. i notice most of the women who came in always came in dressing very revealing and looking for a good time; i'd give them one. and as usual i had agreed, just for show.

I had never remotely been attracted to any of the women who came in here. at least not for the reasons you'd think; just reasons you wouldn't understand. I actually wanted her for more than what a man would usually want a woman for; it's far more personal than that. I quickly walk out of my room and the front door. i get out my spare key instantly opening her door, quietly shutting it.

I listened carefully to the shower. the sounds of the water were strong and steady, but not so hard that it stung. I wanted to hear the water sound like the heavy pour of rain but not so much of being pelted. it was surprisingly so warm that steam surrounded the bathroom within in minutes.

But usually when the water pressure was suddenly set to low, it made it difficult for me to hear the sound. I couldn't even get the feel or warmth of the steam which agitated me. I was only fascinated by the sound because it helped me figure out my next anticipated step.

Then eventually when the water would go gurgling down the drain, it slowly became less continuous and monotonous; meaning that indefinitely the shower was over. she opened the door with the towel wrapped around her still damp body. she responded to me by smiling casually while I held onto the plastic handle behind my back, nonchalantly.

Her smile showed calmness and readiness. she had no idea. my movements were fluid when I pulled out the shiny reflection that flickered in my eyes; which showed anything but friendliness.
