"Finnick! Finnick get inside right now!" I could hear the urgency in my mothers voice. I immediately obeyed. Pulling myself out of our pool, I grabbed my towel, shook some water off, and went inside.

"Mom, what's so important?" I said as I pulled on my shirt. We weren't allowed to have shirts that had pictures on them because our District Peacekeeper thought they gave everyone bad ideas. So, instead, we have to wear plaid, striped or plain.

"Josiah, you know, the Peacekeeper, is under the suspicion that you are making wepons in the backyard. Is that true?"

"No, Mom, Sir, it is not true. I'm not making weapons." I really was making weapons, but only one other person knew about it, besides me.

Josiah spoke up. "Well, you see, we have no proof of that, so if you don't mind coming with me."

"Excuse me, Sir, Mrs. O'dair, Finnick has not been making weapons. I ahave proof too, if you need it." We all looked around, finally spying an elderly lady's face peeking over our fence. It was Mags.

She had always had my back and just saved me from execution. I would never lose my respect for her.
