As the day becomes colder the snowfox leaves her den to get food for her cubs. As the mother leaves the cubs.They start to whimper cause they dont wont her to leave. so the mom tells them to come along to learn how to hunt for foodd. but as they leave their den one of the cubs get lost in the woods north of where the den is located. so the mom and the others notice that one of her cubs is not there and the mother starts to howl to let the lost cub know that she looking for him.so the cub sits and waits for his mother and brothers and sisters to come an resuce him from the dangers of the woods. but as it is getting to late to stay in the woods. he starts to cry cause he is lost hungry and cold and wants his mum really bad. But they are 122 miles apart from ach other . the lost cub gets hungrier each second on the hour . so his body start to eat its self away and by the time his mother comes the young cub is died. and the pack starts to cry for their love one.
