Chapter 4
"Hey Maddie hey Syd!" Me and both said at the same time. We all started laughing.
"Hey Ky, hey Steph what's up?" Sydney said.
"I'm so not ready for school right now!" Maddie said. She complained a lot I was used to it.
"Me neither," said Steph. We walked further up the steps into school. There was Justin Aultman the cutest boy in 5th grade! I know he likes me he even admitted it!
"Keep your eyes to yourself! And stop looking at us!!!" Maddie said playfully to Justin.
"Okey-Dokey just gonna keep my eyes on myself," Justin said.
Me, Steph, Syd, and Maddie all walked up to our classroom. We were all in the same class together! I sat down next to all of my friends. Miss Hunnary our teacher and who was only 23 let us sit wherever we wanted, but if we talked we had to put our names up on the bored and get a behaviour management notice. I sat down, Maddie and Steph on my left and Sydney on my right. I unloaded my backpack, an turned my homework in. Someone pulled on my curls.
I grabbed there hands to see who it was.
"Syd, why'd you do that?" I asked it didn't hurt but that was uncalled for.
"I don't know it's bouncy!" I returned to my morning work, my friends always copied off of me. I didn't mind if it was a worksheet, but if it was a test or if it was for a grade I'd cover my paper up really good.
"Ok! Class, good morning!!! Today we are learning how to convert capacity units in math today!" Math was my favourite subject, everyone took out there books and turned to the right page.
"Kylie, would you like to read this paragraph of the math lesson then call on someone?" Miss Hunnary asked. I started reading
