Yes, I know. Running away with a guy you don't know in the middle of the woods isn't the smartest idea, and I was wearing a dress. But I have always been a curious human being, and I wanted to find out more about what was going on. And I suppose a part of me thought that traveling with David would give me answers. We had been walking for quite some time before we came to a town. It was small, and nobody paid much attention to us.

That is, until we walked into the small church. It was practically empty, except for a couple of people praying. He led me down the center aisle, and up to the preacher that was also praying. And then, David did something that nobody ever in the history of ever would do. He interrupted the priest while he was praying.

David reached over and poked the priest in the arm. He cleared his throat and said, rather loudly, "Excuse me, sir. We need your help." The organ player stopped playing, and everybody looked at us. I facepalmed myself and dragged David away. When we were sitting down, I smacked the back of his head. "Ow! What was that for!" he cried. I sushed him and whispered "You don't just interrupt the priest while he's praying, David!" Somebody hissed at us to be quiet, and I shut up. David was only quiet because I slapped him again. He wasn't happy about that.

I made him wait until the sermon was over before I led him up to the priest. Trouble was, there was already someone there. A whole line of people to be exact.
