Chapter Ten

Kalia's p.o.v

I was going to have twins. Just like my mother had me and my sister. I saw Michael smiling like an idiot. I smiled along with him even though my worries were racing.

"Well that's the end of the appointment so you two may leave" Doctor Lester said getting up. He walked out of the room. Michael wiped the gel off of my baby bump. He also picked me up bridal style and walked out the door back to our car. I snuggle into him for the time we have and it was amazing. By the time we got to the car, I about fell asleep. Michael was just so warm and cuddly. It makes you wanna go to sleep.

"Hey love you gotta get in the car so I can take you back to the house" Mikey says.

"But your so cuddly" I whine. He laughs.

"We can cuddle later, Kali" He said using my nickname. He puts me down gently and open the door for me.

"What a gentleman" I say with enthusiasm. Mikey just rolls his eyes. He gets in the car and we head off. I've been put on restriction from driving cause of what happened months ago.

"Kalia?" I hear Michael say.

"Yes" I say turning my attention towards him.

"Remember when you were in the hospital, and you said you were terrified of them. What did you mean by that. Why are you?" He asks. I hesitate.

"Um...I-I j-just h-have a-a b-bad p-past w-with t-them"

"Kalia tell me we've been together for 3 and a half months. It's been worrying me. I don't want to keep secerts from each other." He says. I frown at myself. I've should have told him early.

"Michael,....................... I had a twin sister. Her name was Kerri. She never hung out with me cause she was always sick. You know those days I didn't hang out with you. Well I was with her. She had Jade colored eyes with blonde hair like mine. One day we were in our backyard playing tag and she was it. So I as if I would run in to the cherry tree we had she didn't stop and Kerri ran into the tree. Hard I might add. She was knocked out for a while, when she woke up, it was like she wasn't herself. I couldn't watch her be sick and all so my parents put her in the children's hospital and she still never got better.....that's why we moved....we thought America would make her better......." I say with a tears rolling down my face. He pulled me into a hug.

"Kalia it's okay...shh.." Mikey says quietly.   I cry into his shoulder.

"C-Can we get some icecream....?" I mumble. I heard him chuckle.

"Of course, love" he said.
