"Hey Kristy, come on!" A voice rang out in the distance. I look down and my bare feet are tickled by the wet grass and the flowers that had just began to bloom. Spring was my favorite time of the year. It was still raining, and fairly hard. I was soaking wet from head to toe, and freezing cold, but seeing that smile made me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. Skylar stood in front of me holding a soaking wet flower, flattened and soggy from all the rain, and held her arms straight out. I smiled back and took the flower from her, thanking her. "Now come on." She whined and teleported five feet away and began running. I laughed and began running after her. She glanced back and laughed for I wasn't as fast as she was. I'm not that fit, but she was. I had to stop and catch my breath, leaning against a tree and huffing. Skylar appears next to me and looks at me worriedly. "Are you okay?" She asks me and I smile and nod. "Good." She smiles and kisses me on the forehead, and teleports away. "It's right up here." She glances back at me and points forward. I push myself off of the tree and walk behind Skylar, who slowed down to let me catch up.

"Where are we even going?" I asked. "We have to get back before Big W notices we've dissied."

"We're not going back." Skylar stops and turns to face me. "Ever. We're free now!" She almost jumps in excitement. Something she happens to do a lot, I've noticed.

"But we'll get in trouble if they find us. And what about Tyler? And Joseph?" I ask, think about my best friends. "I can't leave them." I look into Skylars eyes.

"They'll be waiting for us there, I promise." Skylar speaks softly and grabs my hand, kissing it before leading me to where Joseph and Tyler were waiting for us.

"Wake up!" Ryder shouts as he opens my door.

"I'm up!" I shout, half asleep, and don't move.

"Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" Ryder jumps on my bed and I fall out.

"I hate everything." I groan, and fix my overalls. "What now? Testing?" I ask. It's the daily routine.

"Nope, you're showering first. You smell." Ryder holds my door open for me and leads me to the shower room. "Everything you need will be in there." Ryder assures me as I walk in and he stands next to some other guard. I wonder who's.

My question is answered when I see Skylar walk out of one of the showers in nothing but a towel wrapped around her body, and another in her hair. "Hey Kristy!" Skylar greets me, excitedly. I blush and stare at my toes.

"Hey." I mumble, embarrassed. She doesn't know how I swing, and how GAY I AM FOR HER. I don't even know if she's straight or not. I hope not. That would suck. I would probably burn someone alive.

"What do you have next?" She asks me, walking to the mirror and unwrapping the towel from her head to brush her hair or whatever.

"I'm testing after this. You?" I ask and she glances at me from the mirror.

"Same." I smile and head into the shower. I close the curtain and set all my stuff in an area the water wouldn't hit. I strip down and turn on the shower.

"It's raining outside." Skylar said.

"I know. It's exciting." I respond.

"We haven't had rain in a long time... Anyways, I've gotta go. See ya at testing." Skylar said her goodbye and I yelled 'goodbye' back to her and hear the door close. I lean against the wall and sigh, the hot water hitting my body and trickling down.

"My life is so boggled up right now." I groan and slide down the wall. My feeling for Skylar are stronger than before, but I don't even know if she feels the same way. Big W and I have our meeting tonight. Alone. And now o can't get escaping out of my head. I've grown attached to Ryder, as a friend, and I just feel like I need a smoke.
