Kidnapped

Chapter 2: The Plan of Attack

After finding out the truth about Lucas and Olivia, it made me realize that there's more to offer in the world besides love. What was I going to do now? I didn't want to just stop being friends with either one of them. Sometimes I wish life would be so much easier. The only thing that I think I need to do is forget it altogether.

The next day was so weird because Lucas or Olivia didn't even say hi to me. When me and Lucas were little we made a tradition: every other weekend we would have a movie day. When I saw Lucas he couldn't look me straight in the eyes.

"Lucas are we still on for tonight?" I asked in a polite manner.

"I don't think it's a good idea Carla, maybe next time. See you later though, ok?"

"Ok, I'll see you around." 'What the heck just happened?' I thought to myself. Days, weeks go by, and neither Lucas or Olivia talked to me it was like they were avoiding me. They needed to know that I'm sort of ok with it. I knew just how to tell them. I was going to plan the most epic party for both Lucas and Olivia. I thought it would be a good idea to give them little clues and lead them to the secret party. The first clue I left was at their lockers. She left a note that said 'You are invited to a treasure hunt party made just for you. Lots will be there. I will give you clues along the way to come to the party see you," then signed CRH. Lucas walked up to Olivia with the strangest look on his face.

"Are you ok? You look like you've seen a ghost?" Olivia said to Luc.

"Did you gets this invite in your locker too?"

"Yes, it was strange because nobody put their name on it, all there was intials "

They didn't know what to do. The were both thinking about rather they should go or not. The next day Carla left a another clue that was taped on there doors. The card said please come you won't regret it. The party is on the 3rd of September. Tomorrow is Monday and that means school.

"Ugggh I hate Mondays, Carla said. She then remembered that the party started in less than 5 days and she wasn't ready. She threw on a pretty floral dress with her black lace flats. She decided to curl her hair today and a put a pink flower clip to get the bangs out of her face. She put a pink eyeshadow on and she put false lashes on her lashes and put some masura over that. Day 4 was about to go down because she was going to give a big clue today. She sat down and took out a special paper that smelled of nature she knew that they would recognize because they all went there before as kids. She signed wear something semi-formal. She then taped it to the one place that they would recognize, the metal table next to Mrs. Doodle's room,.

Olivia screamed "We have to get to the bottom of this, it's getting out of control I don't think it will stop until we go." Lucas replied " I know we have to get to the bottom of this but if we go we might lose our cover." They both go to class and live like any other day. Carla had seen them holding hands and just getting all flirty. She couldn't stand to see them.

"Oh Carla," Olivia said across the room.

"What do you want?",Carla said in a slow, soft voice

"I just wanted you to know that I'm sorry the way things that have got between us. I should have told you about my feelings for Lucas. It was wrong of me. Will you please forgive me because I want to be your best friend again."

"I can forgive you but I don't think that we can be friends. You knew that I feelings for Lucas and you also knew that I was going to tell him someday. Friends don't do that to each other."

Carla walked away with her head held high as she tried to the hold the tear that was about to go down her face.

That night she decided to have a movie night with popcorn and just relax for a night. She watched The Maze Runner and she had fresh popcorn that she popped over the stove and the she added some M&M's to make it a little bit of a treat. She has a soft blanket on her lap with her favorite pillow that read Just breathe. Coco, her little Jack Russell Terrier puppy, laid right next to her.

After the movie she brushed her teeth, went in her room and turned on her fan and hopped on her bed. The next morning she had to something out of the ordinary. She took a pen and wrote on a paper that said, You're almost at your destination the party starts at half past five. Meet everyone in the county park.

This time she slipped the note into Olivia's locker for her to find. " Dang it, we have to go to this party because we got to get the bottom of this. Lucas and I are going on a special mission tonight," Olivia mumbled.

After school was over Lucas and Olivia went on a shopping spree. Olivia picked out a pink lace dress with a pair of brown sandals. Lucas chose to go with a dark pair of jeans with a light blue button down shirt. He also chose to wear brown boots. When they got dressed Olivia handed

lucas a small gun to put under his pant leg. She on the other hand had a syringe that had a medicine to make anyone not remember anything.

All they know was Carla was there target to bring to Matthew Doug, the boss of getting drugs over from Canada. It was almost five o'clock and they were on their way to the party. They arrived ten minutes earlier to get a feel of things around them. The only problem was nobody was there.

"Ugh, we were tricked to coming here!" Olivia screamed.

"Olivia be quiet!!!! I hear someone coming," Lucas said really quietly.

They both stood behind a bush and saw a girl in a white dress. They didn't recognize that it was Carla. Olivia was about to make a leap and take the syringe and shab it her side of her arm. But then she recognized that it was Carla.

"Carla is that you?" said Olivia

"Hey I see you fell for the party, I wanted to bring you here to talk to in person since you guys won't come and talk to me." Carla said with a deep, gentle voice.

Olivia screamed, "Why didn't just come to me and we could of talked?"

"Why would I do that you have a boyfriend that like for such a long time and when I did you just ignored me. I felt so invisible."

Thats when Olivia took the syringe a stabbed it in Carla's leg. She went down in a deep sleep. When she woke she wasn't in the park anymore.
