Training, Oops

As soon we got back to Elena's house I noticed a man, who looked very familiar but, I just couldn't remember his name. "Tatianna, we are going to teach you how to fight off an attack." said Damon. "Okay." I said nodding in agreement. I glanced over at the strange man with a glare. "Who's that?" I asked. "This is Alaric." Stefan said. "Hi." Alaric said, while giving me a goofy grin. I just gave a slight wave and brushed the dirt off my clothes. Jeremy came down the stairs twirling two wooden stakes, then handed it over to Alaric. "That's the only ones we have right now." He said. "Stefan and I will make more." Damon said grabbing his keys, then left the house. "I'm going to go find Bonnie." stated Elena.  Alaric and Jeremy nodded, and she quickly walked out. "So what exactly are we going to do?" I asked while following them to the back yard. Just then Jeremy came at me, I ducked and rolled to the side. "Hey, what the hell was that for!??!" I screamed. "At least your quick, now lets practice some defense move." Alaric ordered while tossing me the two stakes. First we started with dodging, and avoiding unexpected attacks. Jeremy now stood in front of me in a fighting stance so I got into my stance too. "Alright he's going to come at you, do whatever you can, just don't let him get you down." said Alaric. Just then Jeremy charged at me knocking me to the ground, he was about to punch me when I rolled to the side and hopped up. I laughed and did a spin kick into his back, and he stumbled. In one second he was already back on his feet punching me in the side. I groaned while glaring up at him. "Not going easy sis." He smirked. I charged at him, then he ducked, I turned around sharply kicking him in the rib. He clutched his stomach than I kicked his leg out from under him sending him to the ground. I was about to punch him in the face when Alaric blew a whistle. "Nice job, you got some skills." He chuckled. Jeremy staggered to his feet but, I wasn't paying attention. All of a sudden I was flung to the ground, the impact knocked the wind out of me, and he had me pinned. "Never take your eyes off of your opponent, no matter what." He said with a smirk. He got off and offered me his hand, I took it and flipped him over to the ground. I stood above him smirking, wiping dirt off my clothes. "Always be ready for another move from your opponent." I stated. Alaric nodded in approval as Jeremy stood up.

             "Now with the stakes." Alaric said tossing the stakes to me. Jeremy showed me multiple moves of how to dodged then quickly attack. He showed me the best spots to hit a vampire, how to stab the stake in properly, the weakest spots on a vampire, and attacks to do then stab the stake. We continued this for about an hour, we were both standing there, bent over breathing heavily, sweating dripping off us when it was done. "There's one more thing you need to know for today." Alaric stated. I groaned loudly, slowly standing up, and turning to face him. "Now... what?.." I said between breaths. He stepped aside and on the picnic bench there was a shotgun and a handgun and said, "How to shoot." I caught my breath, grinning, and I walked over to the table picking up the shot gun. "Okay so first.." He started to say but, I already picked up the gun pointed it to a flying bird, lining up shot, and shot it. A loud bang rang out and the bird made a small squawk, falling out of sky into the woods somewhere. I put the gun down and turned to face both the boys, they both had an astonished look on their faces. "Yeah I can shoot." I stated confidently. They both chuckled and I soon joined them. "Then let's call it a day." Alaric said. We walked inside, he got some drinks, food then we sat in the living room eating, drinking, watching tv, telling stories, and having some family bonding time.

            3 hours later we heard a car pull up. "Damon and Stefan are back." Jeremy said. We looked at the door as the guys walked in. "Now let the real training begin." Damon said with a smirk as both the boys dropped two black duffel bags on the table filled with weapons. We were back in the back yard, Damon charged at me. I ducked and rolled, this happen over multiple times. "You're going easy on me Damon." I said with a sigh. "It was just practice." He stated and he ran at me full vampire speed sending my flying into the tree. I groaned and fell over, and glared up at him. "Oh it's on." I mumbled. We both charged at each other I pulled out my pocket knife out of the back of my pants and slice him across the arm and chest. He healed quickly and came back at me, we both fell and was wrestling on the ground. When I some how manage to get up and run to the picnic table. I snatched up the gun and fired 3 times hitting him in the stomach, the leg, and on arm. He winced while he stumbled but, quickly regained energy. Next thing you know I'm pinned to the ground and he's chuckling. "Sorry little one you lost." He said. 'Not just yet.' I kneed him in the groin and pushed him. It happen all so fast I knew he was going to get back up. My body reacted faster than my mind did and before you know it, there was Damon lying on the ground with a stake in his chest. The boys saw and rushed outside. "You didn't need to do that." Stefan said in a panic voiced. "I-I-I didn't know, I-it just all happened so f-fast." I stuttered while shaking. "He'll be fine, you didn't hit his heart." Alaric started to say, "But you were close." He finished his sentence. "I think we trained you a little too well, he deserved it anyway." Jeremy said while chuckling. I punched him in the arm. "Not funny!" I yelled, rolling my eyes. Stefan and Alaric carried him inside and laid him on the couch. "He'll be fine soon." Stefan said. So we sat waiting for Damon to come back from the "dead".

Hey guys I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a LOOOONNNGGG time. I was vacation traveling for most of the summer and that was strictly family time over the summer. Than I was getting ready for school, and I had major writing block anyway.  I'll be writing around 4 to 5 more chapters and it will be done by next Sunday, I promise.
