Jayus Ken of Madagascar was one of the 80% not born into privilege. One of the Unconnected. One of those outside the system known as the dive and one of those who never hoped, nor dared hope to get a Neural Dive system---a system where those with it accessed the dive, and had a solid holographic talking companion. Small animals being the lowest in status within the 20% known as the connected, and those with Exotic animals being the highest of the connected.
Everything for Jayus changes when an NDS falls from the sky and installs itself into him. Jayus awakes as now one of the Connected, but his NDS is an ancient First Gen, and his SHC is a GIRL---with him having now unlimited funds.
