Girl From The Past

Chapter Five

I woke up today in a happy mood. Today was Thursday and it was fairly hot out.

I made my way out of my bed, and took a quick shower. Washed my hair, body and shaved. Once I got out, I wrap a towel around my body and sat back down on my bed. I lotion up my arms and legs with my favorite vanilla and peach scented lotion which is very hard to find in stores now.

With the towel still around me, I grab my phone and call Kalin.

He finally answers on the third ring

"Yes Ally?"

"Well hello to you too. Anyways, be ready in 20 minutes with Lala. Don't forget your bathing suits!" I hang up before he can ever respond

With that being said, I go into my suitcase and put on a simple black, strapless bikini top with matching bottoms along with a white lace beach coverup.

Looking at the time, it says 11:20. I have 10 minutes to finish getting ready

Reaching into my closet I grab out one of my VS PINK beach bag totes and put in beach things. The usual sunscreen, tanning lotion, oil, sunglasses, towels, extra clothes and my purse. I put on some waterproof mascara and slip on my sandals.

I grab the bag, my phone and car keys and head down to the kitchen.

I walk into the pantry and grab out a cooler bag then head bcack into the kitchen. I open the fridge and put in some waters, juices, pb&j smuckers cause those are life and I know that Lala loves them, some other snacks and a salad for me, then I put tons of ice in it.

I say goodbye to my mom and tell her where I'm going so she doesn't worry about me. Alexis is out at a photoshoot all day so she can't come.

After making sure I have everything I need, I go out to my land rover and load it up, then drive to Kalin's house.

After about a 30 minute drive I got there, only because traffic sucked.

I went up to the door and knocked, after a few moments, Mama Star opened up.

"Hey Mama Star! How are you today?" I asked as she led me inside.

"I'm great dear, they're just grabbing their towels" she said with a smile, just as they walked down the stairs

"You guys ready?" They both nodded and smiled widely

Lala comes running over and hugs my legs

"Well hello there to you too Lala, I packed lunches and snacks for us so we can eat at the beach"

She looked up at me with a big smile and her eyes wide

"Come on Kalin! I wanna go noooow!" She reached over and tugged on his arm in anticipation

They both said bye to Star and we all left

The car ride was filled with Lala talking about how much she loves the beach and Kalin singing along to Chris Brown songs that were being played in the car connected through his phone with my aux cord

We finally arrived not much later and Kalin helped me unload everything as Lala stood there with her beach toys she packed

I found a perfect spot towards the water, but not too close. Only about 20 or so feet back from the water or so just so we could keep an eye out on Lala if we were sitting down while she played in the water

Kalin helped me set up the towel and he put the umbrella set up so we can each in the shade, or at least for Lala so she doesn't overheat today in the sun

I put the cooler bag under the umbrella for now as I took of my coverup

"Wanna go swim Lala?" She nodded and smiled after taking her coverup dress off.
