"Men these days! Women like us need more power.." - Mariam Ahmed POV
*Mariam Ahmed POV *
Oh yesssss.......uhhh
As the sunlit shines brightly through my bedroom, the similar sense of emotion kept rising in and out of me – through my constant intensive massage on my aching ankle.
Damn those heels.
I grabbed a large bag of marshmallows and chocolate vanilla Ice -cream It was so enjoyable, so captivating entering into my mouth then through my oesophagus, that I almost removed myself completely from the thought of being revolutionary single. And that perhaps, this is my only source of refuge in terms of pleasuring myself that I will get until I recover from and move on from the hot messed-relationship I was in.
Revolting arguments, change of personality; My husband was a good muslim, never drinking or going to parties – but now has become a complete and utter Jerk, flirting with girls he meets at Cafe shops, Train Station, Parks, and even complimenting a girl in front of me for her 'most gorgeous shape and figure'. He swore to never drink but found him drinking til he gets so drunk on so many odd occasions – whether it be in the Office or outside of the club. Telling me all his shocking secrets..which I do not want to repeat now. Ugh, this is so turning me off right now. Focus ; Big scoop of Ice-cream looking all so yummy in this spoon, filled with with such extraordinary sweetness...? That familiar noise of growling and stuff coming from my stomach – indicates it about to bloat like a balloon. Yet, one of my goal is to loose weight and be healthy.
10:15 AM was the the exact time on my white Android Samsung. I noticed that it was beeping indicating that there are a bunch of text messages that I now needed to read. I was anticipating, couldn't wait. One of the best pleasures any girl can have along with what I just did to myself, is knowing that someone loves you enough to text you!
Decided to change from my hijab and work clothes to some Pyjammis ; the one where my ex-husband constantly reminds me I look slimmer in. Prada perfume, Dove deodorant, and cocoa butter lotion complimented my nightly routine. Then my pink-coloured manicured hands reached out for my phone to start to text away the rest of my day; My Parents, Siblings, Cousins, and best friends.
Are you coming to my Basketball game yo?
That was from Jason Mars, one of my guy best friends. We knew each other since childhood, but never got to see each other after 5 years when we both separated to go to a different secondary school; of course mine in England, and his in Atlanta, Georgia. It was a surprise to see that he came to my University here in Lancaster, and ever since our graduation – which is the day we reunited, we vowed to never to separate again without keeping contact. I checked my timetable, scrolling down the empty boxes – how can I be so available? After having this breakup from my ex, I need to still go out with friends, I can't allow that to control me.
Sure, I can make it for next week Sunday for your Basketball game Jason. :) x
He replied to me that he is willing to pick me up and everything. Seriously this guy is too much of a gentleman – It's not like I do not have my own car and driver's liscenes. I decided to give him a call. And told him that all he needs Is to be at the game and I will get there myself by driving. Of course he asks me if I am sure, I said yes, and told him to stop making it sound as if I am helpless. Men these days! Women like us need more power.
I had work tomorrow, so I might as well make the most of my free time. And with the rest of my day, watched a bunch of Korean Dramas on Netflix. My phone kept on beeping, but I must make time for other Important fun things. My work tomorrow at the Office is no Joke. Thinking about that paper, documents, customer services with irritated customers shouting at you. Then there is ...of course, my ex whom I will have to face. Because he is MY BOSS.
