Lucy held her hand up to the door handle, hesitant for a moment. She took a deep breathe, then opened the door. When she stepped inside, her eyes widened. The building was just as beautiful on the inside as the outside, if not more. The walls were all white, with designs carved into the trim. Paintings decorated the walls, and the front wall was covered in stain glass windows. It was rather odd, but gorgeous. After looking around for a moment she noticed something strange, a window was broken, and next to it, part of the wall was smashed in.
"Were they moving something and it...fell?" she wondered as she looked at it. She was then snapped out of her dazed when she noticed the students were in the hallways heading to class, many of them staring at her.
"Oh God. Do I look weird? Am I wearing the uniform wrong? Do I have food on my face?" she asked herself frantically while blushing. She wanted to get out of there as soon as possible, so she made haste to the front office, she quickly opened the door and gasped as she saw a tall, spiky black haired man with many piercings in his face sprinting toward her.
"OUTTA MY WAY, GIRL" he yelled. Lucy reacted quickly as she jumped out of the way and tripped over a chair, luckily she regained balance before falling to the ground. "SORRY 'BOUT THAT" the man yelled as he zoomed out of the office door.
"GET BACK HERE YA BASTARD" yelled an unseen female voice from behind the walls of the hallway connected to the office. A chair then flew out of the hallway and went out the door.
"Gwehhh???!" exclaimed Lucy as she watched the chair fly.
"OW! DAMMIT! YOU OLD HAG!" yelled the black haired man from outside the office.
The angry woman who was yelling from the hallway finally came into Lucy's line of sight. She was a beautiful lady in presumably her 20's, with long, wavy dark brown hair, wearing a dark blue suit jacket with a short, tight matching skirt and black pumps.
"CLEANING DUTY FOR THE NEXT MONTH, REDFOX!!" she yelled, a vein pulsing in her forehead.
"NEVER" he yelled back.
"DON'T MAKE ME HUNT YOU DOWN" she screamed, basically breathing fire at this point.
"AAAAAAH, WHATEVER" he responded. "This bites" he mumbled as Lucy heard his footsteps trailing further and further away.
"Little shit" she muttered with her teeth clenched. She then noticed Lucy. "Ah" she said as she noticed Lucy standing there with a shocked expression.
"Oh, I'm sorry, have I kept you waiting out here?" the lady asked with a smile.
Lucy sweat-dropped and laughed nervously, "ahahaaa...n-no I just came in actually."
"Alright, in that case, what can I help you with? You're a face I haven't seen before~" she said with a smirk as she plopped down in her dest chair. "You a new student?"
"Ah, yes. Today is my first day, are you Alberona-san?"
"Oh right right, sorry for not introducing myself. Yes I am Alberona, Cana Alberona. What's your name? I'll find your schedule for you."
"Oh, thank you. I am Lucy Heartfilia, it's nice to meet you, Alberona-san" she said with a nervous smile.
"Just Cana is fine. Nice to meet you too, Lucy Heartfilia. Your name sounds slightly familiar to me somehow.." said Cana as she searched through a stack of papers.
"Is that so.." mumbled Lucy.
"Ah! Here it is! You're lucky it's only a week into the year, you're not going to need to catch up on much. If you need help with something, don't be afraid to ask. First period starts in 4 minutes, so I'd get going" Cana said as she handed Lucy her schedule.
