|Dirk|

I was shocked. This was the second kiss that Dave has initiated. This was even better than the first. A throat was cleared and Dave jumped away from me. I looked over to the door. Standing in the entrance was was D and Bro. "I leave for a few hours and this is what I find. My baby all banged up and getting his mack on with my little bro in the hospital." He smirks. "I couldn't be more proud of you two." I rolled my eyes. "Please don't get all sentimental on me. You both knew this was going too happen." They looked at each other before looking at us. "Yeah." They said in unison. "What? How did you know Bro?" Dave asked. Bro smirked. "I knew the day we got married, you guys would end up liking each other. I just didn't know it would be this much." I snorted. He was referring to what he had witnessed today; our kiss and our 'sexy'time. "Hold on." Dave sat up in the bed. "If you guys are together, does that mean Dirk and I can't be together. I mean aren't we technically brothers again?" D smiled at this. It was the first genuine smile I have seen him give in a long time. "We talked about this before coming up here. And we decided that we'd like it if you guys kept this going for as long as you would like." Bro nodded. "Yeah, you guys are young. You have time to be stupid and mess things up. We're old and we can't do that." D slapped Bro in the chest. "What he means is, We just want you guys to be happy. So, you guys can be together. Our treat." I sighed, looking over at Dave. He looked relieved. It was as if he was imagining the worst. I gave his forehead a quick kiss. This was starting to be a good day.

Later that night the doctor came in and told Dave he could home first thing in the morning. He sighed as the doctor left the room. "Why can't I leave now. This is stupid. I'm fine. Grade A perfection. I'm like the president after the first year of election. Totes megoats cool. And ironic." I rolled my eyes. "Dave, you were so close to catching hypothermia. And you have a small concussion. He groaned. "But I'm fine!" I turned to look at him. I was glad that the doctor hadn't said anything about me laying in the bed. I kissed his cheek. "Just wait a while. You'll be out in the morning." He sighed, crossing his arms over chest. "Fine, I guess." Great, he was pouring now. "Hey. Don't do that. Mr. Pouty face." I cupped his chin with my hand and turned him towards me. I quickly captured his lips with mine. I pulled away. He smiled slightly. "That's what I like to see." He sighed. "Thanks." My eyebrow shot up. "For?" He pecked my lips. "For saving me. Prince charming." I rolled my eyes. "Anytime. Princess."
