Chapter Four

Jackie
I grabbed my hair tie then put my hair into a bun. I heard as the door bell rang and I went downstairs. I walked to the front door and opened it there I saw Eleanor. I stepped aside so she can come inside and she did. The reason why Eleanor is here is because I have to go to work today, I work in Starbucks and I work there because I can't find no other job and they pay me well in Starbucks. Eleanor is going to watch Aubrey while I go to work.

"Do you feel well?" I asked Eleanor. She looked better than yesterday.

"Yeah I feel alright" She said.

"You don't need to take care of Aubrey" I said.

"I am fine" She said.

"I have to go since I am running late" I said as I grabbed my car keys and coat.

"Bye" Eleanor said as she waved.

"Bye" I said as I walked out the front door and closed the door.

Aubrey woke up and I told her that I would buy her the toy that I was supposed to buy her yesterday. However, She said that she already has a new toy. She picked up her stuffed monkey and walked over to as she was going to show me the monkey. She handed it over to me and I grabbed it. Who bought Aubrey this toy? Was it Jackie? No it couldn't of been Jackie because she was in the market.

"Who bought you this toy?" I asked Aubrey.

"Daddy" She said.

"What are you talking about?" I said.

"My daddy was in the store and he bought me the toy" She said. My eyes widened. This can't be true. Does Jackie know? Of course not or she would have told me. I decided to send Jackie a text message but I didn't want her to get in trouble with her boss since she would have to answer my text message so I decided that I would just tell her when she get's back for work.

"Auntie Eleanor" Aubrey said.

"What happened?" I said.

"Can I get a new doll?" She asked.

"Don't you have a new toy already?" I asked Aubrey.

"Yes but I want a doll" She said as she stuck out her bottom lip. I couldn't say no to that.

"Let's go get you that doll but go get your coat" I said. Aubrey ran upstairs and soon later came back downstairs. I put her coat on then we walked outside the house.

Aubrey and I arrived at the mall. Aubrey quickly ran into the toy store. I quickly ran after her and ran into the toy store. The toy store is kind of big. I searched each aisle until I finally found Aubrey. I walked up to her.

"Don't you ever run away again Aubrey" I said.

"Sorry Auntie Eleanor" She said.

"It's alright" I said.

"Auntie Eleanor?" A voice said. My eyes widened. I turned around and saw a man with sunglasses on.

"Niall?" I said.

"Eleanor you are her aunt" He said. I nodded. Niall took off his sunglasses and walked over to Aubrey.

"What were you going to tell me yesterday" He said.

"Your my daddy" Aubrey said as she hugged him.

"Daddy?" He said as he looked at me. Aubrey let go of him.

"Auntie Eleanor can we take daddy to see mummy?" She asked. I was frozen.

"What's happening Eleanor?" He asked.

"There is something you need to know and only one person can tell you" I said.

"Who?" He asked.

"Just come with me" I said. He nodded. Aubrey grabbed his hand and all three of us walked outside the store.
