Emma's POV:
After first period I went to my other classes and then finally it was lunch. I was excited to see Xavier again I don't know why I mean I just met him. You know I should stay away from him being with him will draw to much attention. I hate attention and yet I want to be with him where I get all the attention.
I walked down the halls and saw people pointing and whispering at me. That's it I am done with this I am going to just stop being around him. Shouldn't be that hard since I just met him. After I get to the cafeteria I look for an empty table and when I found one I walked to it and sat down. I checked my phone and saw one message from my aunt. 'Hey sweetie I am glad you are with me. I'm sorry for your loss i miss them to. I know how you feel I was her sister. And I loved your dad I am sorry. I will be gone for two weeks so feel free to take the credit card on the counter and buy any food you need. Don't worry about money I got it taken care of. Once again I'm sorry especially since you are so young and on your own. I'm sorry I can't be there.' I texted her it was ok and I loved her.
When I looked up there was a group of girls that looked just ordinary and outsiders. They asked me why a girlfriend of Xavier's would be sitting alone. I told them that we weren't a thing and they all looked shocked.
"My name's Stephanie," said the red head.
"My name's Abigail but you can call me Abby," said the burnet.
"My name's Andy," said the dark haired one. After they introduced themselves I told them "my name's Emma but I think most of everyone knows that now right?"
Abby said that they all knew me as the new girl. Well that is good at least the whole school doesn't know my name as Xavier's girl. I am not anyone's property I'm nobody's I am my own person.
We talked for a while longer before they asked why I didn't have any lunch. I told them I wasn't hungry and they moved on. I never really eat lunch at school for some reason. I don't know why I just never feel hungry. We talked for the rest of lunch till the bell rang. They each asked my next class it was geometry finally I love math. Abby said she wished she took geometry but she is in regular so she didn't have our class. But I do have geometry with Stephanie and Andy.
We walked to class together and they told me about a party they were going to this weekend. "I'm not much of a party girl" I told them. "So you have to go it will be fun and a good way for you to make new friends." said Stephanie. I said I really didn't have the time with all the homework. "What homework you barely been here," said Andy. "Ok ok fine I will go but only this one time. Where is it at anyway?"
They told me it was at Zachs. I asked who that was and they said he was a friend of Xavier. Which meant Xavier would be there, just great. It will be harder to avoid him than I thought.
Xavier's POV:
I think she is avoiding me, I saw her walk into the lunch room and I thought she would see me and sit with me. Instead she went to the far table that was empty. She didn't eat but she sat there looking at her phone before she saw there was three girls in front of her. I was about to walk up to her and sit with her but she seemed to be having a great time. I loved to see her happy. That was how I spent my lunch watching her and thinking of all the things I wanted to do...bad Xavier bad bad bad. Stop these thoughts before I actually do something I might regret.
I went to class and sat in the corner by the window I loved to see outside the window. Then Emma came in I was surprised to see her but she didn't see me she was talking to her friends. I stuck my head in a book so she wouldn't notice me staring at her. She walked towards me and sat right in front of me. Well she was two seats in front of me but it was in front of me. The other two sat next to her. The person in front of me was reading a textbook for another class and I asked if they wanted to switch seats so I could pay attention better. She nodded and switched seats now I was directly behind her. I noticed she tensed up when I sat down. She still hasn't seen me, I am just going to love this class.
Emma's POV:
When we were in geometry I for some reason felt this chill going up my back. I didn't know why but it was a good feeling as well. When class finished Stephanie, Andy and I got up the chills were still there and I told them I was going to ask the teacher something. They said they were going to wait outside for me, but then Stephanie said she had to get to class. I told her that was fine and I hugged her and said bye. I walked to the back of my chair to grab my things and then I see feet and I stand to apologize so they can leave. I look up and see Xavier and he just smiles at me. This is going to be a long week...and to think I will see him at Zachs party Friday night. What have I gotten myself into?!?!
