Chapter8- How we met

Alyssa's POV

First day of school, I seemed ill at ease. College student na ako, everyone's death (daw). New society, new environment. But thank God may kakilala ako, si Ella De Jesus. Nakakalaban ko siya sa league before kaya medyo close kami.

Well, I'm waiting for her here at Starbucks. Nasa harapan lang kasi ng university and she said susunduin niya daw ako.

And then she showed up, with a big smile on her face.

" Alyssa! Yes naman. *Smile* " - Ella

" Hi Ella. "

I gave her a quick smile, I'm shy eh. I don't know why but somewhere in my body,  I could feel an electric shock every time I talk to someone. So I'm used to it especially in this type of situation.

" Gutom ka?"

" No it's okay, I had my breakfast back at my apartment. "

" Apartment huh? "

" Yeah, I'm from Batangas. That's why and we moved on because of some personal issues-- "

" Stop right there, I get it, family *Laughs* so odd. Anything? Kahit drinks lang, don't be shy! "

" Coffee frappucinno lang *Smiles* "

" Miss dalawang bottled coffee frappucinno please at isang bottled plum pomegranate then isang ham and swiss panini and protein bistro box. "

" That's all ma'am? Name lang please, thank you. "

While she's doing her thing, nag-aayos ako. I'm so nervous, I don't know what to do. Then later on, dala-dala niya na yung order namin.

" Let's go Alyssa, you ready? "

" Yes *Smiles* "

" Rule number one, never... ever... lose... your ID. Or else, kay dean ka makakabisita. "

" Okay cool. "

This is it, I'm entering to college! I'm leaving my stupidity in high school and I'm ready to step up, or am I?

So we entered our first class, as usual, introduction routine every first day of class. Nong break, nag asked ako kay Ella kung pwede ako lang muna mag-isa dito sa campus mag-ikot. She said yes, kaya lumayo na ako sakanya.

Umikot ako sa whole campus, nakakahingal rin pala. So I stopped somewhere breezy and calm, yung landmark yata dito eh Rizal Library.

Kinuha ko yung frappucinno sa bag then umupo ako under the tree, tumingin-tingin ako sa paligid. I have noticed, lahat halos nag student gumagamit ng foreign language. Is it required? Hmm.

I looked into my bag then napansin ko... shit... nawala ID ko! Damn it!

Hanap ako nang hanap, pero I can't find it. Hala, baka nawala na yun?! First day of school pa naman, jusko!

Later on, may babaeng nakatayo sa harapan ko. Pero di ko pinansin, sorry, ganito talaga ako.

" Excuse me, what are you doing? "

Di ko parin siya pinansin.

" I said excuse me. "

Nope, sorry, I'm mute even I'm not.

" I'm here to help you. "

Help? I'm not asking for your help and I don't need any of it.

" You're so rude! "

" I didn't asked you for something. "

" What?! Tutulungan na nga kita ayaw mo pa?! "

" What's the big deal around here? "

" Di ka man lang namamansin! "

" Cause I don't want to, whacko. "

Hinayaan ko nalang yung war freak na yun at I left that place, she's weird.

" Hoy! Don't mess with me! "

I looked back and I gave her a death glare, then I walked away. Ugh nakakapikon, ayoko nga ng tulong tapos namimilit pa.

Hinahanap ko parin yung ID ko, binalikan ko yung mga lugar na nilakaran ko kanina then I saw Ella.

" Oh dito ka pala! I was looking all over for you, we have to be on the gym. Hinihintay ka na nila doon. "

" Uhm nawawala kasi ID ko eh, I know binigyan mo ako ng warning about it pero nawala nalang bigla. "

" Huh? Nandito sakin ID mo, di ko pa nabibigay diba? "

Oops, oo nga pala. Luh, ang tanga ko naman.

Ganito ako, makalimutin! Kasi before, when I was at grade 10, I had an accident. I was driving a motorcycle but it got out of control kaya naaksidente kami ng best friend ko. 

Simula noon, madali akong makalimot dahil nilipad kami ng best friend ko at nabagok ulo ko. Nag kaAmnesia pa nga ako nun eh, luckily konting injury lang at nakapaglaro parin ako ng volleyball.

"  Ay oo, sorry. *Namula* " (pahiya konti Alyssa)

" Here's your ID, bago tayo pumunta ng gym, daan muna tayo sa dorm then change your clothes into sports attired. Okay? "

"  Sounds cool. "

Nagpalit ako ng attire sa dorm, wow. Not bad, maganda yung dorm. They named it Eliazo, I like it here.

So nakapalit na ako at dumiretso na kami sa gym, from afar, may nakikita akong college students na naka sports attire rin. I bet it's my teammates because they're all wearing an Ateneo jersey.

" Nandito na yung bagong recruit! " - Ella

Pinalapit ako ni Ella sa crowd and she introduced me.

" Our new teammate, Alyssa Valdez. *Smile* " - Ella

" IKAW?!?!?!?! " 

" Huh? "

" *Surprised* " 

Wait what?! She's the weird girl!

WHOA...

So it's means...

*Buffering*

TEAMMATE KO SIYA?!

Hi guys! I'm back! It's been a long day (without you my friend?) naka UD na rin ako after 5 months HAHAHA XD Sorry, busy sa school and work (lol I'm working na eh) til next time :)
