Holy Guacamole!

Guys, check that reads count. Seriously, we just broke 2k reads! THANK YOU ALL!!!

*cough* Now that that's been said...I forgot to ask for a 1-10 rating last chapter–I won't make you re-read and rate or something like that, don't worry–but would please rate this one? It helps me to see how I'm doing and whether you all like the chapter or not. XD

I would also like...one more character I can put into this story, and as always, your thoughts on the matter.

Enjoy~!

The sleep made your bones feel heavy, made your eyelids droop, caused you to never want to move again. Too bad you had to move.

There was something uncomfortable pressing into your side. It wasn't poking you per say...it was more like a crawling sensation. You would've thought that ants were crawling all over you except that you knew you were inside and tucked into the warm covers. Oh, wait. That's why it was different...

The crawling was inside of you.

Not like bugs, as you'd originally thought, but like little balls slamming against your chest repeatedly. You didn't feel sick. Far from it actually, in fact you felt better than you had since before you...

You blinked, trying to get yourself used to the light again. You were trying not to move, moving wasn't exactly something you wanted to be doing today. Oh, but you had to...didn't you? Wasn't today the day that Aqua said you were going to meet the 'higher ups'? Didn't she also say that they would be deciding something...?

Your musings were about all you wanted to be doing right about now. After all, they didn't require any motion of your body, just your mind, moving at unintelligible speeds. The mind was a tricky thing...

You sighed before swinging yourself out of bed. The white walls of your 'cell' met your eyes. You'd never get used to that.

As you stretched you looked around. In the chair from the desk in the room sat Tyki. You assumed he was sleeping because his form was completely relaxed, but with those glasses it was nearly impossible to tell. You had the sudden urge to take them off of him. He probably didn't even need them. You had seen him take them off to fight with Riku before. That brought an important question to the forefront of your mind;

How long had you been sleeping?

You decided that just sitting on the edge of your bed wasn't going to help you find the answer, so you got up.

Tyki was slumped in your chair. He was sitting on it backwards with his arms crossed over the back and his head was cradled in them. His hair was as disheveled as usual, and his hands were dirty like they always were, he was still wearing clothes two sizes too big, and those wretched glasses. And yet...you saw him as the man who was unequaled in martial arts; the man who used his skills to kill others.

It was still hard to believe.

Cautiously, you reached over and grabbed the edge of the large circular glasses. He was indeed asleep. His eyes were shut, peacefully so, and his breaths were deep and rhythmic. He had a mole on his face, one you didn't see before. For some reason, just seeing that made him feel a bit more...human. It wasn't long before his eyes began to flutter. You felt like a total creeper staring at him sleeping, so you sat back down on your bed and pretended to have just woken up.
