I may not have known Lee Alexander McQueen but I could see through his work and how he talked and addressed things he was a very kind loving man with a dark side. A dark side he would show through his work. Some people though he was eccentric and nobody would wear his clothes. The critics thought wrong and the public adores his work.
I want to design and he has inspired me a lot in my designs and the way the clothing flows. I see McQueen as a father figure in the world of fashion always push limits and don't give up on you're dreams and if "people" want you to be like everyone else wow others with you're work instead of giving up because of society's standards for gender roles and clothes for female and males. My clothing wouldn't be labeled as mens wear women's wear anyone could and can wear it. Why does clothing have to have a stereotype specifically male or female. I wouldn't do that everyone should wear what they want. Lee inspired my body and soul his work will stick in my mind forever and he will forever be my fashion hero.
