"Anymore missions?" I ask after a few moments of awkward silence.

"nope, nothing's come into HQ for a while actually no calls no nothing!" Darcie replied sounding anxious.

" Well good," Ava announced, "the city is safe once more!"

"you know you sound like an idiot when you say stuff like that," Scarlett butted in, but Ava was to hyped up to care. We all lazed around with nothing really to do before a voice interrupts our 'very important' rendition of Ed Sheeran.

"Sir I mean Boss person... um... Ells" Darcie called out still staring blankly at a computer screen. I turn my head glumly to look at her now worried face looking at me. I apologise to the rest of my team and walked over to her.

"What's up?" I ask confused.

" I keep getting messages but just before they arrive they just stop!" she exclaimed. right at that moment Scarlett walked over.

"What do you mean they just 'stopped'?" I said anxious and confused.

"I mean they just stop, they never arrive!" Darcie was getting more worried by the second.

"relax, it's properly just some kids messing around." Scarlett added, aware of Darcie's current panicking.

"n-no," she stuttered, " it was from L!". We all stood still, shocked and overall worried for our friends safety. L was not the one to mess around... so the signal must be being intercepted. I began to pace up and down the length of the base, commanding Darcie and Scarlett to track down the source of the jammer and over-through it. Rosie came marching up behind me and stood in front of me to stop me pacing.

"fbudlubsbnubeldjf!" Rosie yelled at me to snap me out of my trance. I slapped her hard across the cheek causing her the yelp.

"what the hell?!" i yell frustrated.

"you were pacing," she said calmly," what the hell is going on?"

" ells... ELLIE!" Darcie called from the next room. I ran inside with Rosie trailing behind me. Projected on the wall were 3 letter:

"Scarlett get everyone ready... this is war!"
