Josh watched from the corner of the room as Maya's eyes crinkled from laughter. She was gorgeous, stunning! And Josh wanted to kiss her. He wanted to kiss her so bad. But she was so young. Only fourteen. And Josh, at a whopping 17. There wasn't much he could really do. It would be weird to date a middle schooler... sure age is just a number, but the number was very important.
Josh sighed and sifted his fingers through his hair. He would just have to wait.. But he didn't know how much longer he could hold back. Not much longer.. At least he knew that..
Maya giggled at Riley. She was so innocent sometimes. It almost made her heart hurt from what would happen if she was exposed to all the bad in the world. Maya sighed and looked around. Josh caught her eye and grinned. Gosh that boy was hot. If only he would accept her. But nooo she just was toooooooo young. If only he knew how old her mindset was. She groaned internally and began to ply with Auggie. Their whole family was so clueless.. It was adorable. And no matter what Maya knew she would protect them.. No matter what. Even if it cost her love life she would do it.
