Nico had been in the infirmary for 3 very long, boring days. I had the make sure that his strength was at its peak before I let him leave.
I worried about him at night. Which is strange... This has never happened before with any of my other patients
But something is different about him for sure. I just can't quite put my finger on it.
I walked into his room and saw him sitting criss cross barefoot on his bed, reading a book.
"Hey death breath." I joked. He looked up at me and scowled. "Blondie." He replied.
I smirked.
"Well, it's about time for you to leave..." I looked everywhere around the room but at him and put a weird smirk on my face.
He caught my drift, "But?..."
"But, I don't want you to leave yet. Your not," even though he was in perfect condition, "strong enough yet to go through you daily life." The posture he was gaining at the small hope of leaving disappeared as he slumped back down into a hump backed position.
"Just continue eating your nectar and ambrosia , and you'll be able to scadoodle out of here tomorrow."
The look Nico was giving me explained he disapproved of my word choice.
"Well sunshine I-" Nico interrupted.
"Ya ya. I know you gotta go... See ya later doc." He said sarcastically. I have him a half hearted salute before walking out the door.
I heard a slight chuckle as he went back to his book.
It was cute. I will admit, I had a small crush on Nico DiAngelo.
I have been openly gay since I was a small child...

Hellooooo. I have left a small cliff hanger.
I have realized how short my chapters are and I decided I was going to write longer ones. This one now is EXTREMELY short. This next one is going to be extra long like hopefully 10-15 pages. I have a LOT to say in the next chapter.
