The carriage rocks back and forth as it passes over numerous rocks and holes in the street. Lady y/n stares absentmindedly outside of the window. She was on her way to see her best friend Elizabeth Midford. They had known each other for some time and had grown very fond of each other.
The carriage halts to a sudden stop , snapping y/n out of her thoughts. Being brought back to reality she blinks twice then notices she was in front of Elizabeth's manor. The young girl smiles slightly and the door of the carriage opens revealing her butler. Y/n stands up and takes her butlers hand in hers and steps outside. She pats down the crumpled up fabric of her dress, it was a long blue-black dress with white trimming. Hearing a loud squeal her head snaps forward in surprise only to be glomped into a bear hug by Lady Elizabeth. "Oh,y/n its been so long since I've seen you ," Elizabeth says while jumping up and down excitedly. The h/c haired girl smiled and says , " Lizzy I saw you 2 days ago." The blond haired female laughs and starts to drag y/n inside. Glancing behind her y/n checks to make sure her butler was following close behind and surely he was.
Elizabeth and y/n had eaten, showered and changed their clothing and now they were sitting in Elizabeth's room on her bed ."truth or dare Lizzy?" Y/n asks staring up at the ceiling." Umm,truth!" She squeaks happily. "If you could had one wish what would it be ?" There was no answer but only a quiet sniffle. Y/n's eyes widened and she sat up and turned to her friend. "What's wrong? Was it something I said ? " she asks the crying girl, full of concern. Elizabeth looks up and meets the caring gaze and smiles, tears still in her eyes. "All I'd wish for is for Ciel to be happy, for him to smile genuinely,I've tried many times over and it only seems to make him upset," she states then looks down. "Elizabeth..." Y/n starts "I can see that you care deeply for him so I promise that I will make him smile for you." Y/n wipes Elizabeth's tears away and says ,"I promise."
