Life Of Acacia

Chapter One

Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Bee--

Acacia silenced her alarm and woke up for the last day of school. Acacia hated school with a passion but if her Grandmother hears that, you better brace yourself for a lecture about success and school etcetera, etcetera.

She showered and wore her school uniform,  then made her way downstairs to make herself some breakfast. Her grandmother was still asleep and Acacia didn't want to wake her up. She made a bowl of cereal and munched on her breakfast quietly. Once she was finished she placed her bowl in the washing basin and left the house, making her way to the bus stop.

When she got there she saw her two besties that are twins already there chatting amongst themselves.

"Hey girls," Acacia greeted. They both looked up and smiled at her."Hey Acacia!" Ally greeted back, she was the more gleeful twin. Ashley waved back, she was more laid back than her twin.

The bus came and stopped right in front of the girls and some other children that were there too. They all got into the bus, Ashley, Ally and Acacia searched for three seats next to each other but there was only two seats next to each other and one last seat next to the Nathan who was the who was considered as 'mysterious hottie' that talked to nobody. Oh yeah, he's also Acacia's ex boyfriend.

Her first love, first kiss but they didn't work out so well because Acacia got bored and no longer held the passion she once had and their breakup was so sad. Nathan was so torn because he was still in love with her and he still is. But Acacia doesn't know, she no longer has interest in dating. Ever since their breakup, Nathan never spoke to Acacia ever again.

"Oh no, I think we have a problem," said Ally.

"Ya think?" Acacia retorted."You guys can go ahead and sit next each other, I'll sit next to Nathan."

"Are you sure Acacia?" Ashley asked her brow lifted in concern.

"Yeah it's just seat."

"May the odds ever be in your favour," Ally joked, imitating The Hunger Games. They laughed softly and departed to their seats. Acacia sat down next to Nathan.

"Hey there," She waved at him. Nathan ignored her and put on his headphones that were around his neck, instead of greeting back.

"Okay then, ignore me."

"Can you please just, I don't know, shut the fuck up," Nathan said. Acacia gasped at him then she felt rage build within her because of Nathan's rudeness.

"Excuse yourself, I just greeted you. I don't appreciate your rudeness," Acacia said calmly, trying to keep her cool. Nathan sighed and removed his headphones and faced Acacia.

"Just back off!" Acacia's jaw literally touched the bus' floor. She huffed and turn the other way to stare at her best friends conversing together.

After School

The bus depot was deserted except for the people who take the bus. Suddenly a black Mercedes Benz drove into the school gates and parked in one of the parking spots. A man that looked he was in his thirties, climbed out and walked in her direction. Acacia looked behind her to check if the man was looking at her or somebody behind her, and nobody was there.

"Hello there, I'm looking for Acacia Andrews.  Do you know who that is?" The man asked. Acacia stared at the man, trying to figure out who he is and how does he know her.

"Uhm... can I ask why you're looking for her?"

"I have something to tell her," The man looked at her suspiciously. Acacia thought of something to say that wouldn't give away her identity to the stranger.

"How do I know you aren't going to kidnap her or kill her or something,  because you are a stranger."

"I'm not, this is really important that she hears what I have to say, just tell me where she is," the man said growing impatient.

"Well then sir, you are looking at her."

The man's eyes widened and he scratched the back of his neck from being nervous, then spoke unsure of how to break down the news,"Well... uhm... okay, don't freak out but I'm your father."

Acacia looked at the man and did the only thing that came to her mind, she laughed in his face and when she was about to calm down she fainted.
