Acacia woke up groggily, she checked her surroundings. Only to find that she was just in her room, she checked her digital clock which read 17:28. Last time she checked it was 14:55 because the buses come at three o'clock.

She wondered how she got here and what happened 3 hours and 32 minutes ago. Then it clicked, she passed out and her 'father' found her. She wondered where he went and how she got home.

She then remembered what had happened at school. She wished that it was only just a dream, but it wasn't. This was reality and she had to accept it and move on, but she didn't know how.

Acacia got up from her bed and when she was about to enter the kitchen she herd voices in the lounge. Holding her breath, she crept closer to hear who was talking. When she saw she saw who was talking she relaxed and released the breath she had held in, because it was only her grandmother and her older sister, Gianna.

Gianna was the more fun version of her sister, Zelda, which she is also known as Acacia's grandmother. Gianna and Zelda have always been close, since they were young and they always stood up for each other and they could never be separated and they still can't.

"Great-aunt Gianna!" Acacia squealed excitedly, then she ran straight into Gianna's arms for a hug.

"My baby!" Gianna squealed back, opening her arms just in time to be squeezed by Acacia's tight embrace. Zelda chuckled softly under her breathe at the sight.

"Please tell me you're staying for at least one night! We could have so much fun!" Acacia suggested, eager to spend some quality time with her great-aunt and her grandmother.

Gianna sighed softly, "Oh sorry to disappoint you Honey, but I'm staying here because of a different circumstance."

Acacia frowned and asked, "Which is?"

"I'm sure you have met your father, who was the reason you passed out, right?" Zelda asked rhetorically, even though the question was rhetorical Acacia still nodded with a frown etched on her face because of the change of topic.

"Yeah, we have to address that issue and help you understand his actions--" Gianna was interrupted by Acacia.

"Why doesn't he tell me himself?" Acacia asked.

"I don't want him in my house, plus after he dropped you off here, he had to rush somewhere," Her grandmother replied.

"I don't feel like talking about him, in all honesty. He's such a lamentable subject," Acacia argued.

Gianna rubbed her temple sand said, "I'm sorry he makes you feel that way Honey, but 'daddy dearest' isn't the only person that's back in town. Your mom is too."

"Gianna! That's not how you were supposed to tell her!" Zelda whisper-yelled at her sister.

"Zelda, there's no purpose in beating around the bush. She had to know," Gianna retorted.
Acacia couldn't even hear the bickering her grandmother and her great-aunt were making. She was still trying to contemplate all the information she is being revealed, bit it was too much to take in.

One side of her wanted to jump in glee that there might be silver lining to the dark cloud that hangs over her head called 'orphan', that her parents would finally accept her, and love her.

The other side is just plain mad at her parents for leaving her, for never accepting her and for making her go through all the unnecessary pain of never being able to share a story about what she did with her parents or what she her parents bought  for Christmas or her birthday.

Right now all she felt was perplexed.
