My Life Just Got Interesting

Shopping?

We made it to the mall just before noon. We headed straight towards Jeans Anonymus where you can find any style and any brand of jeans you wanted. I wasn't one to really dress up in something pretty so I just grabbed a few plain pairs and one that had a design down the right leg. Sena grabbed multiple colorful jeans that each had a specific design to its color. After we paid for everything we headed to the little malt shop at the far back of the mall itself. We sat down and about two minutes later we were able to order.
"So what can I get you two today?"
"Two malts. One chocolate and the other strawberry."
Of course I was stuck paying since I decided to place the order. The lady taking our order gave us our malts about five minutes later and I paid and left. We sat down at a small table in the middle of the food court and started in on my malt. Sena was being quiet so I looked up at her to see her staring at some guy behind me. I turned around to see exactly what she was staring at to find him staring right back at her. Or me. I couldn't quite tell. I turned back towards Sena.
"Do you know him or something?"
"No. I thought you would've but obviously not by how long it took you to turn back around. Wait, now he's walking over here. I wonder why."
She gave me a look like 'oo la la' when she finished that last sentence. I rolled my eyes at her playfully and started laughing. I went back to drinking my malt then I had the weird urge to look back at Sena. Her eyes had gotten huge and were at something that was directly behind me considering she was looking slightly upward now. The guy that she was already staring at was possibly right behind me now. I went to stand up but felt a hand on my shoulder pushing me back down softly. Then I knew who it was as soon as he spoke.
"How old are you?"
"Just turned sixteen. Why? What's it to you?"
"What's your name?"
"You still haven't answered my question so i'm not answering yours until you do."
"I was just wondering. Your a very pretty young lady so that's why. Now if you would, please answer my question."
I could hear the slight irratation in his voice.
"My name is Fern. What's yours?"
"Name's Luke."
I looked at Sena and she was still staring at 'Luke' but now her jaw had dropped. I snapped my fingers in front of her face and she finally turned to me, shut her mouth, and smiled as if she was a little embarrassed. I starting laughing at her softly and it only made her face grow redder. I was still laughing when I stood up and turned around to face this Luke character. I ended up practically walking into his chest since it seemed he was a whole head and a half taller than me. I stood by Sena and looked him up and down. He seemed okay. He had short, light brown hair that seemingly went perfectly with his forest green eyes. He looked about 6'1 at least and his body was built as if for endurance, speed and strength. Nothing less. And I had seen that his tan was just a little darker than mine and it justed added to the overall look. After I was done looking him over I looked at him and found him smiling, seemingly pleased with himself.
"Like what you see, Princess?"
"Hmm... Maybe. But I had to see what my friend here was staring at so intently."
"Yes. I saw that. But although she is quite pretty as well, I was more set on you."
"Well today is our girls day so I won't be having time to go out with anybody until tomorrow."
He looked as if I had thrown a stone at his face. I don't think he was used to being turned down or something.
"How about tomorrow then?"
"Okay. I can do that."
"'Kay. Great. I will pick you up at around noon."
"Okay. See you then."
I grabbed Sena's arm and pulled her up to her feet. Then started walking away with her to the next shop.
