Hello, guys. The Creator of the Universe here.

Thank you for (your attempt at) reading this! It's the brainchild of my group of friends, and we've (I've) worked kind of hard at this.

I dedicate this stuff to S, W and G. <3

Enjoy! :3 (and maybe follow us or something; I could use some motivation to write.)

Prologue

The night air was cool. Barely any sounds permeated the darkness. Tiny little fireflies danced outside Ambrosia's window, gathering slowly to form a blinking mass of lightning bugs. She was unaware, and slept peacefully.

She dreamt of a beautiful room, with a window overlooking a glittering city. In a four-poster bed in the corner, Ambrosia saw a girl, looking barely fifteen, in a flowing gown of coral pink, her golden curls falling into her emerald eyes and softly over the pointed tips of her ears. Ambrosia was mesmerised by the girl's laugh as she talked with a little glowing speck hovering near her head. That was when she saw the shadow.

A dark figure lurked behind the girl, partially hidden by the heavy curtains framing the bed posts. She tried to scream, but it was the speck that caught the girl's attention. The girl whipped her head back. The figure jumped. She shrieked.

When Ambrosia woke up, it was already morning. She tried to brush away the dream as the product of a purely overactive imagination, and pushed the covers off, wondering what had fallen onto her halfway through the night that made it so heavy.

It was a girl in a coral pink gown.
