Prologue

My life before now wasn't as happy as the others. The other spirits saved children and lived a happy life as humans. My life was cold and dark. At a young age I lost my family and was put in an orphanage. My years there were a blur and I haven't gained my memories of that time of my life. Probably for good reason.

I had friends and did just fine in school. I had a passion for history and nature. Later on I pushed my friends away as I was diagnosed with a depression disorder. I grew depressed at a fast pace which caused me to push my friends away in an attempt to show that I didn't need friends to be strong. All I know is that from that point on I tried multiple suicide attempts but someone always stopped me.

Someone was always there to stop me from killing myself. No one helped me in time though at the time of my death. I do thank Night for giving me a Heroic(?) death. I died protecting not only a whole entire forest, but six children. I thank the man in the moon for giving me pieces of my memories. I died by murder. Men wanted to use the site as a restaurant but the thing is, an endangered species lived there. They were not only trying to destroy the forest and the home of many animals but also trying to kill the animals so they could build. The six children stood their ground but the men didn't care. I called the police and realizing soon after that they wouldn't get there in time, I did what I had to do. They killed me but the police arrived soon after I was on the verge of death. I had no hope of surviving and Night appeared and said "This is your last minute alive". Nightmare is the reaper. He decided when the people of the human world die.

He is my only friend that I didn't push away and still is my friend as a spirit. Night is the only person I trust in this world of spirits besides the man in the moon and Sandman.

Jk that's Nightmare/Night above. His real name Zack but prefers Night or nightmare.
