It was a normal Monday morning. Mira woke up and did her usual orthodox ritual. She put on jeans, a blue camisole, a pair of black Jordans, and threw on a black sweater. She went downstairs ate the usual cereal, Honey Bunches of Oates, grabbed her rollerblades and went out without saying 'goodbye' to her anxious mother.

She doesn't get it

As she skillfully manuvered through the tree infested streets, her silky moonlight hair gracefully flowed past her narrow shoulders. The sunshine poured onto her silver locks making her look almost angelic. Mrs. Hampton waved toward her as she passed by her pastry shop. She only returned a small smile.

She doesn't notice it

As Mira arrived at the entrance of her highschool, Rosewood High, she bumped into a boy strolling in through the iron gates. She noticed that a group of teens gathered in the courtyard watching the boy pick up his books. He had short midnight black hair that lazily fell over his ebony eyes.

She looks at him. He looks at her. They move on. Ignoring the tight clenching in their chests.

Like they could ignore it
