blake's POV
I started hanging out with Michael more and more after that day, practically everyday give or take. He became what I considered to be my best friend and I confided in him for everything, and he did the same with me. I found myself often wondering if I ever wanted anything more with Michael, romantically I mean. I couldn't deny the feelings I had, but I didn't know if I was willing to jeopardize our friendship if I were to act on them. So, for now I just repress them and enjoy the time I spend with the boy who I never would have thought I'd get to know and who was the most absolutely interesting person to figure out and be around I had ever had the privilege of knowing. I was currently in math scribbling non sense onto my paper while daydreaming as intended to do in this class. Math was never my strong suit, as was the same for most of my average or below average classes I was taking, and so I was in algebra 2 for the second time because I couldn't quite understand what was trying to be taught to me, no matter how hard I tried. I could understand a concept for a while, but trying to recollect that same concept later is nearly impossible for me. After the bell ringed, freeing me from this torture, I quickly gathered all my belongings and left the classroom only to bump into Michael who was waiting right next to the door.
"Woah, hey there." He said catching me and chuckling. I recollected myself and brushed my shirt off before following him as he started striding down the hall through the waves of loud, rushing teenagers.
"Hey there yourself." I said poking his shoulder.
"How was math?" He asked.
"Bad, as usual." I replied shortly, making sure not to bump into anyone and they pushed their way past me heading in the opposite direction.
"You know I can help you," he said, "with math that is." I hadn't thought of that u till just now and I quoted my eyebrow at the idea.
"Really?" I asked in disbelief.
"Of course, I'm great at math." Michael said. That was true, I mean he was in I think AP Calculus after all.
"Okay," I agreed, "heads up though, I might be a hard student to teach."
"And why's that?" Michael asks with a childish grin spread across his features.
"I don't know, I just am. You'll have to see." I said before winking at him and parting ways as we got to my next class. He waved at me and went off to his class and I was left alone. I sat at my assigned seat in this class and prepared myself for yet another boring lecture that I would struggle not to fall asleep in.

After school I went out to the student parking lot to look for Michael and I found his freshly died platinum blonde head down staring at his phone held firmly in his hands. I snuck up behind him and wrapped my arms around his neck loosely. He gasped in surprise and turned around only to laugh when he saw me and return the embrace.
"Sup loser." I greeted.
"Sup asshole." He replied in the same tone. I smiled widely and we walked over to his truck. He held the door open for me and shut it after I got in before walking around to his side and getting into the drivers seat.
"So, are you ready to do some MATH?!" He exclaimed excitedly jumping up and down in his seat, being completely overdramatic as usual.
"Definitely not, but with you? Maybeee." I said nudging his shoulder playfully.
"I'm glad to hear that." He said, tapping his fingers against the steering wheel to the beat of the song coming from the radio. When we got back to his apartment he led me up to his room number, which I had become so familiar with lately, and when we went inside we set our backpacks down in the living room so they were all ready for when we started studying.  I went to the fridge and grabbed two water bottles for each of us and tossed Michael his. He wasn't prepared and fumbled with it before it fell to the ground with a loud thud.
"Really?" I asked suppressing a laugh.
"I wasn't ready!" He exclaimed defending himself.
"Yeah sure, if that's what you want to tell yourself." I teased. He pouted his lip and I walked over to him and pouted back.
"Baby," I said.
"Am not!" He argued.
"Are too." I said smirking. I got closer to him until my chest was pressed up against his. His breathing become ragged and rough and he gazed at me with a quizzical expression as if questioning what my next
move was going to be. I brought my face closer and closer to his until my lips literally shadowed over his. I debated whether I actually was going to do this and just when I decided I was in too deep to stop now, he closed the gap between us and pressed his lips against my own. My eyes widened momentarily, but then I relaxed into the kiss. It was filled with lust, desire, and wanting and honestly was everything I'd imagined it would. His hands went around my waist pulling my body closer to his and my hand went directly to his hair, running my fingers through them freely. The feeling was indescribable and we found ourselves in this position for quite some time before finally pulling back from the embrace and looking at each other. We were both silent for a couple minutes before I finally spoke up.
"So, that was fun." I commented lightly. He chuckled and scratched the back of his neck before nodding.
"Yeah, we should do it again sometime." He suggested with a shy smile creeping into his face.
"Definitely." I said smiling now that the awkward moment between us had passed.
"So, what does this mean for us?" Michael asked after another moment of silence went by.
"Well, what do you want it to mean?" I answered with another question.
"Blake, would you do me the incredible honor of agreeing to be my girlfriend?" Michael asked getting down on one knee, like the over dramatic little fuck he was.
"Oh, Michael!" I exclaimed playing along to the overproduction of all this, "Of course I will!" He leaped up and picked me up, spinning me around and when he set me back down he cupped my face and kissed me again. I smiled into it and when he pulled away, this big child like grin was plastered on his face.
"You know, we haven't even gotten any math done yet." He said glancing over to our backpacks laughing.
"Oh darn, what a shame." I commented shrugging my shoulders innocently. He turned back to me and I just grinned devilishly before he just sighed and shrugged too before reached out and wrapped me up in his embrace, clinging tightly to me. I just smiled in content and felt perfectly fine if I were to just stayed like this, with Michael, forever.
