Hiccups POV

The door opens to reveal jack un the dorway. I roll my yes

"Where is elsa? I need to speak with her" I demand

"Elsa is in no fit condition to talk to you right now"

"Is she okay?"

"None of your buisness"

"It is my buisness if she is possibly carrying my child and that I love her so move out of my way" I push past him to see elsa lieing on the bed. I sit down next to her and brush a strand of hair out of her face. She opens her eyes and sits up to look at me.

"What are you doing here?" She asks. The usual spirt and fire in her voice just isnt there. It sounds more like a drone. The life in her eyes are faded a bit. I pulled her in for a hug. I can feel jacks icy cold glare on my back. No pun intended.

"Now tell me whats wrong? What happened?" I ask

"I had to have my meds switched. The old ones were too harmful for the baby." I nod. So thats whats going on.

"The hospital called me. Has the paternity test come back yet?" The doctors called me to make sure I knew. Which was nice.

"Elsa whats he talking about?" Jack asks.

"N-nothing" she stutters

"Elsa you said that you were a hundred percent sure that this baby was mine so why are you getting a paternity?"

"Elsa why would you say that? Why would you  ot want this child to be mine"

"Because if it is im afrad that ill want to get back together with you." I just stare at her in shock. I place my hand on the side of her face. She slightly leans in to my touch

"Far enough haddock" jack warns. I ignore him

"Why?" I ask her

"I just dont know if I can trust you anymore" she says quietly looking down

"Allright haddock time to go. Last warning" if looks could kill id be a corpse. Elsa words cut through me like a hot knife. I lift her chin uo so her gaze meets mine

"I am sorry elsa. Im so very truly sorry. I will spend forever making it up to you. Call me when the results come in. I love you" then I get up and leave

elsas POV

jack just stares at the door for a few seconds. the air was very tense and uncomftarble I open my mouth to say something but im cut off when jack says

"don't" quite harshly so I just close my mouth instead

"why did you lie to me Elsa?" I look away

"if you weren't sure you could have said that in the beginning. you didn't have to lie to me"

"I just didn't want this baby to be his. I didn't want to trust him again."

"Elsa I would have understood. and nobody is saying that you have to trust him again. on the unfortunate chance its his we can deal with it. you and me will still be together. I just wish you didn't lie to me." he says.

"jack can you please just tell me what the test says!"

"fine" he sighs. he hands it to me and with shaky hands I pull out the paper that will tell me who the father is
