*Rosemaire's POV*

"What?" Alex said trying not to laugh. "Can we keep her?" Roi asked him putting his face against mine. "Roi? Wha... No. Her family is probably missing her." he protested. Roi pointed to my cuts. "Alex, her father did this to her" Roi explained. Tears started rolling down my face. I hated my father. I quickly wipe them off, before they could see them. "Alright, if everyone would take their seats, we will be taking off soon" the flight attendant announced. Alex looked at me, at Roi, then back at me. He sighed. "Okay, you can sit in between me and Roi." he smiled. I blushed. He was extraordinary. I sat in between him and Roi. I had dreamed of this moment. I yawned and reached in my bag. I pulled out my favorite stuffed wolf, Joey. Sure, he only had one eye and was falling apart but we had been through everything together. "Are you tired, honey?" Roi asked me. I nodded sleepily. He patted his lap. I looked up at him and he smiled warmly. I giggled and laid down on his lap. I could feel myself drifting off to sleep to the rhythm of his breathing. I woke up in Roi's bed, but he wasn't there. "Roi?" I said. There was no answer. "Alex?" I was starting to cry. All the sudden, someone poked their head in. He smiled. "Hey, it's okay. I'm Will" he said. "Where are Alex and Roi?" I stuttered. He sat on the bed. "They went to the store," Will explained," they should be back any minute". My eyes watered and I stared to cry. "They left me!" I cried. Will got up and picked me up. "Shh. It's okay. Don't cry." he walked to the family room. "Where's my Joey?" I sobbed. "Roi has him" he said setting me on the counter. He went through the cabinets. "Who wants candy?" he sang handing me a bag of gummy worms. I squealed with joy. He chuckled. "What's your name?" he asked me. "Wosemawie" I said with gummy worms in my mouth. "That's a beautiful name" he laughed.
