It's been about 2 years since Dan and I started dating. We have been happy just being in each others company. We are in Texarkana visiting my brother for my birthday. Ironically, it was his birthday as well. We weren't twins, but we were born on the same day. He says that I was the best present he could ever recieve.
I was walking down the street, talking to my best friend, Victoria. (Yes I am your best friend) we were both really excited about the party we were throwing. Most of my friends and family are coming. My grandmother died about a year ago, but it still feels like she is still with us. I miss her, but I don't cry over it. Victoria had a big bag with something in it. She wouldn't let me follow her into the store to get it, so I don't know what it is.
We soon arrive back to the house and see everyone already here. Mom, dad, Reece, and a few of my highschool friends are there. Yeah, I never had that many friends in school, but I didn't mind.
"Yeah! Your here!" Breanna shouted.
"Presents!!!" Shouted Reece. We all just laughed. For about an hour, I opened presents, thanked everyone, and joked around. Once the last present was opened, I realized that Dan didn't give me a present.
"Dan. Where's your present?" I asked. He smiled and stood up.
"I will show you. Every one follow me!" He yelled. He led us up the stairs to his room. On his bedside table is a small box with blue velvet on the outside. He got down on one knee and held the box in front of him. "(Y/n). You have made me the happiest and luckiest man alive. I don't ever want to leave your side. Please stay with me and be my wife?" He asked, opening the box to reveal a ring with white diamonds in the middle. I, while crying tears of joy, screamed at the top of my lungs
"YES!" I scream. He got up and pulled me into a kiss. We pull apart and he slips the ring onto my finger.
